About Sedae Slaughter:
She was born and raised in Philadelphia, PA, and is the oldest of 10 children. She wore many hats throughout her childhood and has always been very talented in the art, music, and dance industries; all of which she never had the courage to showcase due to constant teasing and bullying growing up. After years of struggling in poverty and living in troubled communities, she and her family moved to Charlotte, NC in 2008 to escape the harsh realities of their past. She soon went looking for love in all of the wrong places and found herself 18, pregnant with her first son (David), and single. She experienced a rollercoaster of trials and tribulations until she found her way back spiritually in 2015. She met her husband, Mike Slaughter, and they had two more children, Miguel and Serenity! Sedae eventually graduated with her Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and her Master's in Christian Education, and started her own nonprofit - Generation Genesis!

The idea of DaeDreamers Network was something Sedae wanted to launch after having her third child, but she knew she needed to graduate seminary first. She said, "In order to be a great leader, mentor, teacher, and coach, I am going to need to know the real Gospel for myself". Sedae has always had a heart to serve people, and she loves to bring smiles to the faces of everyone she encounters. Her hope is to empower everyone she meets to dare to DREAM!
