Loving your neighbor isn’t rocket science, you just treat people how you want to be treated.

The simplicity of love isn’t getting taught. I hear a lot of “I don’t know how”, “what steps should I take” and the step is to love first. Showing love isn’t complicated when you are doing it for the right reason.

Me being a GOD fearing man, I love so I can be a reflecting image of the LOVE that saved me. Which is the love of CHRIST.

October is here and it is a busy month for me personally. It’s blessing to be asked to speak or emcee some awesome events.

We have two events on October 8th. I will be at speaking on the rise of gun violence in the city and the work we do at (I’ll be speaking around 1:30 pm but the event starts at 12:30 pm)
Then I’ll be at as a recipient of The s/o to .glover for recognition. It’s an honor!!

Then October 10th my is having a miniature golf event as a fundraiser for and a couple other organizations.

I’m very excited about happening October 15th at which I’ll be a guest speaker there thank you to for including me.

On October I’ll be emceeing the Block party from 11:30am to 3 pm will be with me. Y’all meet us there!

Lastly we started our in partnership with and at 3:30 pm to 6:30 pm This program is for 28 weeks of the school year. Sign your child up, we are looking to have 60 middle schoolers. Oh did I mention it’s free and we feed them everyday. Yes it’s free lol.

Ok that’s my October update y’all be blessed. that these opportunities are here. All Glory goes to GOD for blessing me and allowing me to be a blessing to others.

Thank you to everyone who came out to our first Legacy Conversations! It’s important that we continue to engage in dialogue as such to spark and influence change for the better. Remember, “if everyone does a little, no one has to do a lot.” So, thank you to everyone again for contributing to conversations and being proactive in the transformation of Charlotte communities.

Peace and blessings everyone! I pray all is well with you all.

Today is always a rough, reflective and appreciative day all in one. Just tons of emotions being that it's been 6 years since Keith Lamont Scott's life was taken from him and we protested throughout the streets of Uptown Charlotte.

It also means that it has been 6 years since we started Heal Charlotte and through that ministry we have been blessed to do some great work in the city. Also, for me personally GOD has really blessed me in these last 6/7 years of my life. Through service work that looks to heal the wounds of this city, I have been able to heal my own personal wounds. By serving people I have in someway served myself. I've gotten baptized in these last 6 years. That protest saved my life but it hurts that we had to lose Keith Lamont Scott and Justin Carr for it to happen.

This is why I can't stop and won't stop because the protest is not just that one day in the streets it's 365 DAYS A YEAR. This is why I chose to serve to the best of my ability because I owe it to those brothers and their families plain and simple. May they rest in power!! May KEITH LAMONT SCOTT'S AND JUSTIN CARR'S NAME LIVE FOREVER through the work we do at . It has been an honor and privilege to serve and we will continue to do so BY ANY MEANS NECESSARY. I WILL ALWAYS SCREAM until the

SHOUT OUT TO ALL THE COMMUNITY LEADERS whether "boots on the ground" or in an executive seat. Keep pounding, Keep fighting because a change is gonna come but it starts with us.

released a 2022 Mid Year Review: Rising Gun & Youth Crime Top Concern

Since the beginning of 2022, at least 118 juveniles have been suspects of firearm-related offenses. In addition, there have been at least 482 juvenile victims of firearm-related crimes.

These numbers are staggering. What happens with these young people and their families? Charlotte we have to do better?

Yes, she is rising senior in H.S but she is experiencing college now. She was so excited this morning. She is 1 of only 2 students picked from her school and on top of that she is the only Young lady in her class.

So proud of her and I know my Dad is with her especially on this day.

Today is a wonderful day it's my Dads birthday I know he is in Heavenly Paradise smiling down. I continue everyday to make sure the JACKSON name is represented correctly. One thing I know is that he is in a better place and happy. My sister Giovanni Jackson and brother
Devante Jackson are out here being great and he is so happy with where his children are.

June 25th. I'll be in Charlotte, NC for my nephew's Stop the Violence Day Event. I'll be speaking on a panel about how HipHop can help curb gun violence in our inner cities. Come holla at a legend!

Working hard to bring awareness to gun violence in this city of Charlotte. This will be our 2nd Annual Stop the Violence Day 2022 and we hope to have the city out. We will be live at Camp North End

Hosted by the event will consist of panel discussions, break out sessions and music performances by recording Artist , Charlotte star Parker and the phenomenally talented with a lot more talent.

Panel discussions about Gun Violence from a community and political perspective. What laws,bills need to be passed at the state level?

About this event:

This year, National Gun Violence Awareness Month and Heal Charlotte will also host our 2nd Annual Stop The Violence Day, June 25th. The mission of is to set a strong tone for the 2nd half of the year 2022 that violence is not the desired culture in our city. We will do this by providing resources and support to the community to reduce the incidence of gun violence in Charlotte, NC. The vision for the event is a summit that will take place in June 2022 for Gun Violence prevention month. This summit will combine elements of arts, culture, entertainment, and education to bring awareness to the issues and provide solutions for change. The art and training showcased throughout the STV Day will begin grassroots conversations among community members and advocates that will carry the mission of the Summit into the rest of the year and beyond.

AMERICA NEEDS
A MENTAL HEALTH DAY

Let me ask this question. How are kids in school taking tests after this horrific-just straight act of evil we all just witnessed?

How aren’t all schools in America closed right now? I just don’t understand how we send our children back in to the world like it never happened and expect teachers to teach, students to learn and principals to govern a school. HOW? My hearts hurts for the families, children, school staff and city of Uvalde, Texas.

Where is the prayer time, family time, mental health day for all of us? Why doesn’t this shut the world down like COVID did? Wheees the empathy? When will Gun safety really be addressed?

This is how we operate as a society. Hey, I’m guilty of it too. Excepting this mediocrity as of this is how life is. Well guess what, this isn’t how life was intended to be. We aren’t supposed to to just get up and get to work after this. We are supposed to mourn, cry, appreciate our loved ones and love on them some more today. I pray we all do exactly that today.

ANYWAY I LOVE YALL, ALL OF YALL AND I PRAY WE NEVER HAVE TO EXPERIENCE THIS AGAIN. I REBUKE ANY PLANS (in the name of JESUS)THAT WANT TO BRING CHAOS, CONFUSIONS, HARM AND HEARTACHE into this world. I pray that we experience peace, love and forbearance throughout our lives.
