Get Involved on campus by joining a Trident student organization. Student organization meetings are held monthly during Student Activity Period when classes are suspended by faculty for 1 hour according to 2017 Student Activities Period: Summer 2017: Tuesday, June 13 10:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 19 10:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m.
The time is now! Apply to Trident Tech on June 6, and we will waive your application fee.
We’re looking for bands and singers to perform at upcoming events. If you know of a group and/or singers that may be interested in performing, please tag them in the comment section or send us a Direct Message.

Due to the threat of severe weather, all Trident Technical College campuses and sites will close at 2 p.m., Friday, April 19. The college will resume a normal schedule on Saturday, April 20. Students: Please be on the lookout for information about making up missed class time.

The Early Childhood Development Club and the Department of Child and Youth Studies are celebrating the Week of the Young Child. Students created a theme for each day - Music Monday, Tasty Tuesday, Work Together Wednesday, Artsy Thursday and Family Friday. Heidi Rader and Tiani Batiste, vice president and president of the Early Childhood Development Club, illustrated how children learn through play, collaboration and creativity. The club is selling t-shirts to raise money to attend an early childhood education conference.

Alcohol-Free Weekend is April 5-7! The purpose of this weekend is to raise public awareness about the use of alcohol and how it may be affecting individuals, families, businesses and our communities. During Alcohol-Free Weekend, Facing Addiction with NCADD extends an open invitation to all Americans to engage in three alcohol-free days.

Career Day will be held on Thursday, March 7, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. During Career Day, high school students get the opportunity to experience a day of educational enrichment and fun.

Trident Technical College student organizations are raising money with concessions at the QUEST academic competition.
Society of Broadcasters are currently recording and producing mini videos that will be used throughout Trident Technical College to educate current and prospective students about various departments and processes used on campus.
All week students at the Berkeley, Palmer, and Mt. Pleasant campuses had the opportunity to decorate and personalize provided mugs. The event was entitled “Don’t Stress Exams: Decorate a Mug”.

In celebration of Black History Month, College of Charleston Athletics recently honored Cougar Trailblazers at a men’s basketball home game. Both trailblazers – Louester “Lou” A. S. Robinson and Tanya Trescott Harper – were honored for their impact on the College of Charleston and the greater community through the years. Dr. Robinson, dean of Trident Technical College Downtown Palmer Campus, is a 1977 graduate of the College of Charleston. Congratulations, Dr. Lou!
