There’s a new ocean now—can you name all 5?

Happy National Ocean Day! There are now officially 5 named oceans. The Southern Ocean, which was once part of the Pacific Ocean has officially been added to the map. Read more about the Southern Ocean from an article released by National Geographic.

There’s a new ocean now—can you name all 5? On World Oceans Day, Nat Geo cartographers say the swift current circling Antarctica keeps the waters there distinct and worthy of their own name: the Southern Ocean.

Melbourne Cow Save

Example of an unseaworthy vessel.

UPDATE - The ship has been banned from leaving the port and cattle are starting to be unloaded!

*** BREAKING - PLEASE SHARE - ROLLING LIVE EXPORT SHIP ***

Live Export Ship MV Jawan with 4327 Cows started rolling drastically at the Port of Portland this morning (an hour past Warrnambool) and has now been detained in the port.

What has happened to the cattle on the ship? That ship was tipping tremendously and some must have been injured.

We are waiting to hear more and will keep you up to date. We have people working behind the scenes to contact the appropriate authorities and media outlets.

Please share this widely.

+++++++++++++
*UPDATE* - 4pm, Friday November 23rd.

The ship is still in the Port of Portland and has been moved and hidden so it’s not in plain sight of the general public.

Reports they are pumping out water but we will get that confirmed ASAP.

+++++++++++++
*UPDATE* - 8pm, Friday November 23rd.

The cows are still onboard. And they are pumping water from the back end. No transparency. So much silence from Portland.
Updated post here with photos - https://www.facebook.com/1576837392623481/posts/2017343001906249/

++++++++++++++
*UPDATE* - 8:30pm, Friday November 23rd.

About 380 cattle have been unloaded from the vessel and returned to the feedlot and are now under the control of the Department of Economic Development, Jobs, Transport and Resources.
