I wanted to share with this awesome performing arts community and any opera fans on this page, that the Giulio Gari Foundation will be hosting another one of their live streamed shows in their Salon Series, which can be found on their page. This series is a great collection of events that are live-streamed and feature talented special guests, who share their personal experiences and how they got to where they are today with their career, as well as discuss the art form of opera. This upcoming event will showcase the talent and experiences of opera singer and tenor Errin Brooks, who has several impressive performances on his resume. This show will air on July 21st at 7pm EST through Giulio Gari’s page. I hope all of you get a chance to celebrate the world of opera and stream Brooks’s premiere episode on the Giulio Gari Foundation’s Facebook live!
This looks like such a cool theatre with some pretty amazing performances! It is so important to support the arts, which is why I love attending performances of both live productions and films. I thought I would contribute my latest independent movie favorite for anyone else here who enjoys to stay home and watch something every once in a while. It is called Empathy, Inc. and it is about a virtual reality startup that has more going on than what meets the eye, which the main character Joel must figure out and navigate through himself. I really enjoyed how this film kept me on the edge of my seat from start to finish with its suspenseful atmosphere and dark tone, I never knew what was going to happen next! I would definitely recommend, and if anyone is interested it is out on VOD now.

Just wondering if anyone pays attention anymore. Are you there? Are you aware we are still here? Do you remember what amazing productions we did? Our amazing Christmas shows? We loved starting off the holiday season with you! Or "Bandstand, the 1960s", "And They Called it Jazz", "FEVER", and more. All written, directed and choreographed by Scott & Kirk Pfeiffer. And who can forget our youth theatre productions. WOW! So many CPAC/CACC youth have been accepted into School of the Arts. We are THAT good! 35 shows total in 7 years! If you've read this far, and you remember the great entertainment we provided you, or the amazing performing experience CPAC/CACC gave you, comment which was your favorite and why! We'd love to hear your story.

World Theatre Day - International Theatre Institute ITI

Today is World Theatre Day!

Comment on what Theatre means to you!

This year has brought theatre to its knees. Literally. We are all begging for help, for awareness of the situation, for our futures.

Actors, singers, dancers, triple-threats; lighting, sound, hair and make-up, and scenic designers; dressers, riggers, run crews, stage manager, directors, production and company managers; house managers, box office, ushers, and concessions workers. Everyone and anyone involved in the creation of live theatrical entertainment is unemployed, unsure of our future, teying to make it through each month with little to no financial support, and still trying to create art in these dire circumstances.

Consider donating to your favorite arts organization today!
