Congratulations Rosie and Ben!
Just wondering if anyone pays attention anymore. Are you there? Are you aware we are still here? Do you remember what amazing productions we did? Our amazing Christmas shows? We loved starting off the holiday season with you! Or "Bandstand, the 1960s", "And They Called it Jazz", "FEVER", and more. All written, directed and choreographed by Scott & Kirk Pfeiffer. And who can forget our youth theatre productions. WOW! So many CPAC/CACC youth have been accepted into School of the Arts. We are THAT good! 35 shows total in 7 years! If you've read this far, and you remember the great entertainment we provided you, or the amazing performing experience CPAC/CACC gave you, comment which was your favorite and why! We'd love to hear your story.
Today is World Theatre Day!
Comment on what Theatre means to you!
This year has brought theatre to its knees. Literally. We are all begging for help, for awareness of the situation, for our futures.
Actors, singers, dancers, triple-threats; lighting, sound, hair and make-up, and scenic designers; dressers, riggers, run crews, stage manager, directors, production and company managers; house managers, box office, ushers, and concessions workers. Everyone and anyone involved in the creation of live theatrical entertainment is unemployed, unsure of our future, teying to make it through each month with little to no financial support, and still trying to create art in these dire circumstances.
