We are beyond excited to return "home" to James Island where our story began over 10 years ago, at 873 Folly Rd. We are bringing back our beloved youth theatre program, formerly the James Island Junior Theatre at the Charleston Performing Arts Center (C-PAC).

Our new program, Broadway Access, will offer workshops to kids and teens at the James Island Arts and Cultural Center beginning August 20. Online registration is now open to ages 8 to 18 at https://www.broadwayaccess.org/

Helping youth find their voices, their confidence...their spotlight, is our gift. We have been fortunate enough to share our passion for teaching at Stiles Point Elementary, Murray-Lasaine Elementary, Charles Towne Montessori, Ashley Hall, and East Tennessee State University.

We are beyond proud of our student Ethan Baker who has been accepted into two of the top summer musical theatre intensives: Broadway Theatre Project and American Musical and Dramatic Academy. Ethan has been privately studying acting, voice, and dance exclusively with S&P Productions for the past two years. His talent, perseverance, intellect, and exuberant personality is what makes him such an exceptional human being and deserving of both of these honors.

The performanc and the person that forever shaped my life…the incomparable three-time Tony Award-Winner, Mr. Hinton Battle.

If you aren’t familiar with him…just watch and appreciate the magnitude of this man’s talent. He was also the original Scarecrow in The Wiz.

Summer On Broadway Workshop -- Acting & Industry with Susanne McDonald.

Susanne, a graduate of Boston Conservatory at Berklee, is an actor focused on film and devising theatre. She is also an alumna of our Summer On Broadway Workshop program.

Our students showcased their acting chops with prepared monologues and received valuable feedback. They also gained valuable insight into devising theatre and the realities of "life after college" as a work-seeking performer.

In this beautiful and gracefully demanding master class with the talented Mary Carpenter, students went from a classical barre warm-up into a combination.

Summer On Broadway Workshop -- Dance Call with Judine Somerville!

From the start, the one-and-only, Judine Somerville had students moving and grooving. The focus was a mock dance call audition, and Judine did not disappoint.

In a fast-paced environment, they went from a physically-demanding warm-up to learning a dance combination that they performed in small groups. The final line up required them to sing 16 bars confidently.

Afterward, they had a great Q&A session where Judine provided some excellent life advice.

Summer On Broadway Workshop -- Improv Singing with Broadway's Susie Mosher!

Our students had no idea what was to hit them when the incomparable Susie Mosher, creative genious and host of the award-winning cabaret, The Line Up, walked into the room.

They had a blast learning how to use their personal story or given prompts to improvise a song. The results were both hysterical and insightful.

They also did a mock audition and got impactful coaching leading to phemoninal results.

A huge ovation to Logan Medland who masterly accompanied our students!

Summer On Broadway Workshop -- Theatre Jazz Master Class with Yuka Notsuka!

Students learned some Luigi original choreography by master teacher, Yuka. This is the second time many of our students were able to take from her, and it was a welcome reunion!
