PNC Bank and the Children's Museum of the Lowcountry (CML) present Free Friday Family Fest on Friday, November 15, 2013 from 5:00 - 8:00pm. Families receive FREE ADMISSION to the CML, dinner provided by Chick-Fil-A, and a coupon for a return visit to CML. The first 250 families receive a free book. In addition to museum play, there will be games, activities, and jump castles. No registration required, just come and enjoy the fun!

The Coca-Cola Scholars Program Scholarship is an achievement-based scholarship awarded to graduating high school seniors each year. Students are recognized for their capacity to lead and serve, and their commitment to making a significant impact on their schools and communities. It is our privilege to award over $3 million annually in scholarships to these young leaders.

Junior Girls Day Out Community Project

The Junior Girls Olympics 2013 Finals will be held this weekend, Saturday-Sunday, September 21st-22nd at Bishop England High School on Daniel Island! We are inviting all Charleston County Schools girls, ages 6-12 years old, to participate this weekend in our Olympic series of FREE events.

We are honored to feature several celebrity guests at our Olympic events. Our Opening Ceremony Keynote Speaker is Curtis Frye, World Championship Committee Member and United States Olympics Coach. The Ceremony is Saturday, September 21st, 9:00am-10:00am, in the Gym. Girls are invited to come and march in the Parade of Sports…similar to the US Olympics!!

The fun and excitement continues with four Exhibitions which we are sure the girls will enjoy! They may participate in the Jump Rope Exhibition (12:00pm-1:00pm) conducted by the World Champion Double Dutch team! We are also honored to have Susan Feaster, CEO, Ryder Cup France 2018, US Partners Cup, as our Special Guest Speaker & Mentor at the Golf Exhibition (3:00pm-4:00pm). We will select girls at this event for our golf team which will be traveling to France!! Our Cheerleading Exhibition Coach, Robin Ridout, travels around the world judging cheerleading competitions. Girls will be selected on Saturday to participate in a Georgia State University half-time football game at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta! (3:00pm-4:00pm). Our Healthy Cooking Exhibition (4:00pm-6:00pm) will entail a local chef and cooks teaching girls how to prepare tasty and delectable nutritious dishes! Girls will cook, practice etiquette skills by setting tables, and serving samples to Parents and other adults.

Throughout the day, we will give away trips for Disney Cruises, as well as New York, Florida, Washington, DC, and Hershey, PA trips!

Girls do not need to have any experience for these Exhibitions, these are all fun events. Parents may register girls at www.juniorgirlsdayout.org.
