Congratulations to our advisor Mr. Grimmage on receiving the Martin Luther King Jr. Humanitarian award 👏🏾🥳 Grimmage received one of five MLK Humanitarian Awards given to a faculty or staff member found to embody the ideals of equity, inclusivity and justice espoused by King. Multicultural Overnight Visit Experience (M.O.V.E.) - College of Charleston

Have you heard about the M.O.V.E. (Multicultural Overnight Visiting Experience) program at CofC? This program allows multicultural students to spend a night on campus, sit-in on a class, interact with faculty, tour the campus, and meet potential future CofC students.. FOR FREE! Applications are now available. Apply NOW! An overnight visit program for interested students of diverse backgrounds.


Senior Project 2015! This is a great program through the Office of Admissions, where rising seniors in high school spend the week at College of Charleston. During this week they are exposed to what CofC has to offer to them. They get to sit in on classes, tour Boeing, tour MUSC, etc.! They had a BLAST!


One of our Student Ambassadors is also a Tour Guide for the College. She had the opportunity to give a tour to 30 students from Claflin University's Upward Bound Program. They had a mini photoshoot! 07/06/2015

This past weekend our advisor, Kenyatta Grimmage, had the honor of speaking to a reporter from the Los Angeles Times. They had a lengthy conversation and she published portions of it along with a video in yesterday’s article. As he tugged open the plywood door to his newsstand Saturday morning, Charles Tone turned to one of his customers with a question.
