William & Mary Charleston Alumni Chapter

Comments

Hello Tribe! I am excited to say I am moving to Charleston next month with AmeriCorps. I will be mobile the first couple weeks until I find an apartment with a 12-month lease.

I wanted to ask if any W&M alums are looking for a roommate or have a room to rent starting early July.

I rented rooms in the DC metro area for two years and am happy to provide references. Please message me privately to start a conversation. Thanks!
Discount tickets for the Battery's Open Cup match next Tuesday for W&M alumni, in honor of W&M alum/Battery goalie Phil Breno!
Since Rusty's incredible cooking skills have added so much to so many W&M events, I thought I'd create a portrait of him for posterity.
I just found out that I will be traveling to Charleston this winter. It would be great to meet up with some alumni.

Reminder! Please join the private Facebook group William & Mary Charleston for announcements and conversations by and for our alumni group. Just go to:

Traditions Weekend

While the situation around the COVID-19 outbreak is evolving every day, we are taking additional proactive measures that will protect our W&M community, on and off campus. We are guided by these four goals:

- Support our students, faculty and staff and keep them healthy,
- Ensure students can complete their classes,
- Maintain the university’s operations and commitments, and
- Join in the national effort to slow the spread of COVID-19.

In light of these goals, discussions with healthcare experts and the CDC’s most recent recommendations, the university has released policies (https://www.wm.edu/news/announcements/2020/message-from-president-katherine-a.-rowe-wms-covid-19-response.php) to safeguard our students, faculty, staff, alumni and friends. These include canceling all university events through April 3. Some may be rescheduled or conducted virtually. We will reassess by April 1 and will keep you updated of any changes. In the meantime, please refer to our COVID-19 webpage (https://www.wm.edu/about/administration/emergency/current_issues/coronavirus/index.php) for more information and a Q&A.
Please visit https://traditionsweekend.wm.edu/ for an update on Traditions Weekend.

Until we can gather together once again, stay safe and be well.

traditionsweekend.wm.edu Dear Friends, We are all watching with great concern as the situation surrounding COVID-19 continues to unfold in the U.S. and around the world.
