CofC Zero Waste Events

The Office of Sustainability hopes to reach a goal of making the College of Charleston a Zero Waste Campus by 2025- starting with events! As an initiative at the Office of Sustainability, the Zero Waste Events crew aims to make all college-sponsored events zero-waste!

Events generate a large portion of CofC's waste, but we are here to help divert how much is sent to the ever-shrinking landfill. Volunteer for events, learn to compost and recycle, and help us reach our goal of being a zero-waste campus! Contact us if you would like to make your event zero waste!

Come join our Office for the last Social Justice Coffee Hour of the semester focusing on Street Harassment in Society. Bring your coffee or tea mugs and get ready for a great discussion!

Have you ever been catcalled while walking down the street? Or witnessed it and not known what to do?

The final Social Justice Coffee Hour of the semester will be unpacking these questions. The goal of the event is to provide an avenue for discussing and better understanding what street harassment is and how to combat it.

Bring your mug and we'll bring the coffee.
