Italian Studies Benvenuto! Many students are interested in Italian because of its rich cultural heritage. As we currently offer only a minor in Italian, students in the program are usually interested in careers in art, music, design, cinema, history, politics, entertainment, comparative literature, and international business.

[09/09/14] The first Italian conversation hour will be tomorrow, Wednesday Sept. 10, at R. Kitchen. It will start at 4:15 for those not walking with the group, and we will meet in front of the library (Calhoun side) to walk there together at 4:00. Hope to see all of you there!
[09/04/14] Thank you to those who came to the meeting today, we decided on some pretty awesome stuff! It was the consensus to have conversation hour, where you can practice your Italian, every Wednesday from 4:00pm to 5:00pm. It will be held at R Kitchen on Rutledge Avenue so we will be meeting in front of the library (the Calhoun side) at 4:00pm and walking there together--or you can just meet us there! All levels are welcome! The first Wednesday of every month we will have other fun stuff planned like Italian movie night or Italian game night, so keep an eye out for reminders!
The Italian Club is going to have their first official meeting THURSDAY SEPT. 4 from FOUR TILL FIVE at the latest. The meeting will be in BELL SOUTH 225C (Italian department office area).
