The Citadel Graduate College Student Government Association. It is the mission of the Citadel Graduate SGA to promote the values of the Citadel, enhance the life of the student, and represent the non-cadet student body through leadership, communication, and legislative action.

Purpose of the SGA:
1. To represent and advocate on behalf of graduate and professional students at the Citadel in all matters concerning academics, welfare, administration, social activities, and other matters specified to the aforementioned students.

The Citadel Graduate College Student Government Association has teamed up with the Citadel Athletic Department and will be hosting a holiday happy hour at Biergarten located in Downtown Charleston!

The Citadel Athletic Department will be giving away free tickets to some upcoming basketball games and other great free prizes! This event is also an excellent opportunity for you to socialize with your fellow students and meet students from other programs in the CGC!

Check out the custom set of co****le boards a lucky winner may win at this weekend's Homecoming Tailgate Party. Tickets to enter the drawing are $5.00 each and we will be holding the drawing at 1:00.

You can purchase the tickets in the 5th Floor Lounge in Bond Hall on Tuesday and Wednesday from 4:30 - 5:30 or at the tailgate party.

[11/02/14]   Don't forget the CGC Student Government Association will be hosting a Tailgate Party open to all CGC Students and their families at the Bulldog's Homecoming football game vs Furman on Saturday, November 8th.

The tailgate party will be held in the Lot P near the old football stadium and is set to begin at 11:00. The SGA Executive Board and Senate Assembly will be hosting a pot luck, a TV will be set up with ESPN, and participants may pay $10 to enter a Co****le Tournament for a chance to win a cash prize! We will also be holding a ticket drawing for a set of custom co****le boards provided by Co****le Zone, tickets will cost $5 each. Tickets can be purchased from Joshua Brown in the CGC 5th Floor Lounge on Tuesday and Wednesday from 4:30 - 5:30 or at the tailgate party. The drawing will be held at 1:00. All proceeds will go to benefit the CGC SGA and future SGA sponsored events!

[10/29/14]   Students, packet pick-up for the James Island Connector Run will be on Friday in Bond Hall room 257 from 2:00-6:00 pm. Tonight is the LAST DAY to register for the run online. After that, people may sign up in person on Friday during packet pick-up hours.

Starting today the Bond Hall Student Lounge will have extended hours on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. The lounge will now be open until 8:30 PM both days.

Also, don't forget food service is available in the lounge on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 4:00-7:30 PM.

The lounge is located on the 5th floor of Bond Hall and is open to all Graduate, Evening Undergraduate and Veteran Students.

The canteen offers sandwiches, wraps, salads, yogurt, fruit, chips, cookies, and drinks at affordable prices. The canteen also takes cash, debit cards, and credit cards.

James Island Connector Run 2014

The CGC Student Government Association is proud to partner up with the Gavalas Kolanko Foundation to promote the 2014 James Island Connector Bridge Run to be held on November 1, 2014.

This event is held to fund scholarships for students with disabilities. Participants will be given the opportunity to participate in a 10k run, 10k bike ride, or 5k run/walk. Attendees will also be treated to a fun party with food, beer, and live music.

Students who are interested in signing up for the run can find registration forms in the CGC front office and in the 5th Floor Lounge of Bond Hall.
