The Black Achievers Program is a college readiness program that provides students with an educational and social outlet that aspires to motivate them to pursue post-secondary education
The YMCA Black Achievers program provides purposeful targeted programming geared towards educating all teens. Throughout the school year we try to keep students engaged with a plethora of activities including but not limited to:
Bi-weekly meetings held at Porter-Gaud School
Speakers from various professions and walks of life
World of Work Tours to local businesses
In and Out-of-State College Tours
SAT Prep and tutoring available
