CofC Composers

Theory & Composition majors at C of C explore contemporary music creation, repertoire, techniques and analysis, as well as orchestration, electronic music, film music and multimedia and music technology.

Their works are performed frequently both within the Music Department and by local ensembles. They study both privately and in seminar style small groups with professors Edward Hart and Yiorgos Vassilandonakis, and benefit from frequent visits by nationally known composers. This is the page for College of Charleston Composers and their supporters to share news, links, music, ideas and chatter. Past, present and future students are all welcome.
