[06/11/20]   Dear Grace Members and Friends,

Our Church Council met last night to consider when we will restart in-person worship, and with what restrictions. Your input from the survey was key in our discussion. Thank you to all of you who responded by submitting your thoughts, concerns, and recommendations.

The Church Council unanimously decided to delay our restart further.

We will meet again on 6/23 to reassess our situation with a target restart date of July 5th. (Restrictions will be published prior to restart.)

Of particular importance to our decision is the upsurge in new cases of COVID 19 in South Carolina, along with our high percentage of members in the CDC's "high risk" categories. Please continue in prayer for our ongoing ministry, participate in online worship, and continue to support our work with your tithes and offerings. Also, please continue to follow guidelines for limiting the spread of this coronavirus.

Thank you for your faithfulness.

In Christ,

Pastor Dick

Restarting Survey

Dear Grace Members and Friends,

We are planning to restart in-person worship at Grace, hopefully, on June 14th. However, we need your help in determining what the thinking of our regular worshipers is in all this. Would you please take a few minutes to answer the questions on this online survey, so we will know where everyone stands on getting back together?

Link to survey:

https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdoKDyVYVtOvu96lXjALn9o0u7rTBwAdHcIxesDn_GhCQ_Ybg/viewform?usp=sf_link

Whether we restart now, or restart later, please make you decision about participation in worship based on what is best for your health and safety. Many of us are in the CDC's "high risk" category due to age or health conditions. Please take this into account, and know that it is okay to stay home and stay safe. We will continue to worship online, too.

Thank you for your continuing support of Grace UMC.

Yours in Christ,

Pastor Dick

docs.google.com As we look to reopen our church building for worship services, we are asking for a few minutes to hear from you about your level of comfort in regards to participating in worship. Please fill this out individually and respond to us promptly. We will send out an email out to share the recommendations...
