Dear Governor's School Alumni, Faculty, and Staff - The time is now to return Governor's School to The College! Please join me at a reunion and planning session in 2018!
On Saturday, February 22nd Professor John Litcher took his last breath and the world will never be the same. John was one of THE THREE AMIGOS I met when I became Associate Director of the Governor's School of SC at CofC in 1991. John and "Moose" spent more than 20 summers in Charleston teaching South Carolina's best and brightest. When the Governor's School lost its funding in 2008 I immediately began mourning my guvie friends. John Litcher taught. thousands of students at Wake Forest and the Governor's School and he touched many more lives through his philanthropic work. If you were fortunate enough to know him and you'd like to send his family a note please let me know and I will send you their address. Also, keep Professor Mel Goldstein and Professor William John Lavery (his fellow amigos) in your thoughts. They have lost their brother John.

Did you go to Governor's School in 1989? Let's have an old school Governor's School reunion right here on the dang internet. Brought to you by Samizdat and the Numeral 7.
Hello Everyone! I am an alum of the NC Governor's School-first Governor's School in the country! I'm reaching out to our fellow Governor's Schools in the country. This summer the funding for the NC Gvoernor's School was cut. We need your help. If you can donate a dollar to our school we would be really touched. Here is the website
