College of Charleston Master of Teaching Learning and Advocacy

The MTLA M.Ed. develops the skills, pedagogy and understanding of educators seeking to improve their own practice or assume a leadership role in education.

The M.Ed. in Teaching, Learning and Advocacy (MTLA) is designed to advance the knowledge of professionals who are seeking to improve their effectiveness and to prepare them to serve as change agents in their classrooms, schools, and districts. The MTLA degree focuses on the needs of under-achieving children, especially those who live in poverty.
