Mark studied English and education as an Echols Scholar at The University of Virginia and received his Masters from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. He has taught at the University Of Virginia Young Writers' Workshop, ASA SummerFuel Enrichment Program, and at the University of Massachusetts. He founded Perfect Verbal in 2004.
