Mark studied English and education as an Echols Scholar at The University of Virginia and received his Masters from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. He has taught at the University Of Virginia Young Writers' Workshop, ASA SummerFuel Enrichment Program, and at the University of Massachusetts. He founded Perfect Verbal in 2004.

You can remember the word accentuate because it has the word accent in it and an accent mark in music or language is a stress mark.
