If you would like to purchase a book written by the sloth sanctuary itself, please send in $10 to your students teacher by May 2nd.

100% of the book proceeds go straight back to the sanctuary :)

Calling all family volunteers!

We would love your help “chalking the walk” on April 14th to write words of encouragement to the 3rd, 4th and 5th grade students that are taking the upcoming STAAR test!

The only member to vote AGAINST the proposal to consolidate was Carolyn in Carrollton Farmers Branch ISD.

Although we are devistated, we are thankful for Carolyn speaking up for our children and we are thankful for the teachers, principal and staff that made all our memories at Furneaux beautiful.

The Carrollton-Farmers Branch ISD Board of Trustees tonight approved the district’s school consolidation proposal with a 6 to 1 vote. The vote approved the consolidation of Central Elementary, Furneaux Elementary, McCoy Elementary and Long Middle schools, as well as new attendance zones.

UPDATE - We are continuing to monitor campuses impacted by power outages and will communicate updates as soon as received and as quickly as possible.
