Our Preschool students dove into data representation today! They explored counting and sorting by analyzing their shoe colors. We created a chart to represent our findings, discovering how to categorize and visualize information along the way.

Today, we celebrated World Down Syndrome Day by participating in the Lots of Socks campaign, wearing whimsical, colorful, and mismatched socks! Everyone’s story is important, and we hope our students and families always know that. Holi Hai! Today was a blast! Holi is a joyful festival celebrating the importance of color, spring, and togetherness. Our students had so much fun creating their own vibrant tie-dye T-shirts and learning more about this beautiful tradition. It was a wonderful way to celebrate creativity, culture, and community!

Today was National Working Moms Day, and we celebrated all the incredible caregivers in our Primrose family—moms, guardians, and everyone who nurtures and supports our little ones—with spa goodie bags filled with eye masks and face masks. It was a small way to say thank you for all that you do!

Happy International Women's Day! We're celebrating by sharing stories of amazing women with our students. Books like "A is for Awesome" and "Dream Big, Little One," found within our Balanced Learning® curriculum, spark inspiration in our little learners.

Happy Read Across America Day! We had a blast celebrating this special day dedicated to inspiring a love of reading. Our friends from the Lewisville High School Student Council visited us and read "Pete the Cat and the Perfect Pizza Party" to our students. We love this story, and our amazing guests made the experience extra fun!

Our Early Preschool students explored plants today by examining them up close and labeling their parts, including the stems, roots, and leaves! Through hands-on discovery, they observed textures, colors, and shapes, deepening their understanding of how plants grow. Watching their curiosity bloom was the best part!

The love fest rolled on with our student Valentine’s parties today!

Our classrooms were full of smiles as students shared sweet goodies like handmade cards, watercolor sets, play dough, and more!

Happy Galentine’s Day to the heart of our school—our fabulous teachers!

School leadership treated our sweethearts to the cutest goodie bags (pink tumblers, makeup pouches, and more!), and our wonderful parents joined in by sharing the sweetest notes of appreciation.

100 days of school already?! Time has flown by! We’re so proud of our students for 100 days of exploring new ideas, pushing their thinking, and gaining confidence along the way.

To celebrate the 100th day, we dressed up as 100-year-olds—because learning is a lifelong adventure!

Officer Izzy shared insights about the important work officers do in the community and provided valuable tips on staying safe. We’re so grateful for the time you took to connect with us and make a difference!

Today, in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., we celebrated bravery. Through meaningful discussions, reading "I Am Brave" by Brad Meltzer, creating bravery badges, and more, our students explored the idea of courage. Together, we discovered how acts of bravery—both big and small—can make a difference in the world.

Character development is a part of daily activities in Primrose schools. Teachers use the Primrose Friends to teach traits like bravery, kindness and fairness through stories and play. During this busy and exciting holiday season, we were thrilled to receive hundreds of bottles of soap, shampoo, and conditioner for our local charitable partners! These items are in high demand, and we’re so grateful to our families for their incredible support. It’s also been a wonderful opportunity for our students to learn about the joy of giving without expecting anything in return!

Primrose schools across the country collected over 385,000 canned goods and raised more than $58,000 for those in need during this year's Food Drive! ❤️​

A huge thank you to the students, families, teachers, staff, Franchise Owners and Support Team members for their generosity and dedication to making a positive difference in their communities.

The joy of giving is reflected in our Primrose Promise Giving Events, where students, families, teachers, staff, Franchise Owners and Support Team members make a positive difference their communities through service projects. ​

​As a part of our annual Food Drive, we participated in the 11Alive Can-A-Thon by donating more than 21,000 cans to the The Salvation Army Metro Atlanta. We are so proud of everybody who gave without expectation and supported those in need this holiday season!

As part of the Primrose Schools Mud Pies® program, students learn about agriculture as they plant, grow and harvest nutritional fruits and vegetables in the Primrose Patch. ​

​Understanding where our food comes from is an important part of our health, history and culture. Did you know pumpkins are native to North America and were first cultivated by Indigenous People, along with corn, beans, cranberries and various other foods? Indigenous People in the Americas are to thank for many of the foods we grow and enjoy today. ​

By modeling self-regulation when you feel frustrated, like verbalizing your emotions, you can help your child build that same skill in themselves. ​

Children do best when they understand what they can and cannot do. Ensure you are clear with what is being asked of them and look for moments to praise their positive behavior. ​

Gratitude is one of the many positive character traits that children learn in Primrose classrooms. See how you can help foster gratitude in your little one right at home:​

​🎁 Teach Gratitude Through Gift-Giving: Putting a reasonable limit on gift-giving during birthdays and holidays can help your child better understand the value of each present they receive.​

​🤗 Demonstrate Gratitude: Model this important trait for your little one by showing appreciation for others, always saying “please” and “thank you” and having a positive attitude.​

​🗣️Provide Prompts: Gently remind your child to say "Please"​ and "Thank you" to build this important habit.​

​❤️ Create a gratitude ritual: Have each family member share one thing they’re grateful for every evening before dinner, write “I Care” cards together, or volunteer as a family.​

Today’s Trunk-or-Treat was pure Halloween magic! From spooky scenes to creative costumes, our families turned out in full festive force. Same time next year?

Today, our Older Infants explored tree-dwelling animals as part of our school-wide focus on the outdoors! We introduced students to animals like squirrels and birds, discussing how these creatures make trees their homes. To deepen their understanding, students engaged in an activity where they placed animal figures on a "tree," helping them visualize and learn about the tree habitat in an interactive way!

Our second learning unit, Sensing Outside, began yesterday! Today, our Young Toddlers explored water and the many ways we use it—from watering plants to taking baths. They enjoyed time at the water table, practicing their scooping and pouring skills with different tools.

This weekend’s Open House was a blast! We loved sharing all the incredible things our students learned during the first unit of school. And yes—the ice cream truck was a huge hit too! Thanks to everyone who joined us.
