Wei Hwa Chinese School will start on this Sunday September 11th from 2 to 4 pm. The office in H112 will open at 1 pm. We encourage you to come to school early to complete your registration and locate your classroom. And please follow these directions:

1. If you have registered and also paid for the text book, please go to your class and your teacher will distribute the text book to you.
2. If you have registered but did not pay for the text book, please pay for it first then come to office (H112). You will get your text book by showing your receipt.
3. If you have not yet registered, please complete registration then come to office (H112). You will get your text book by showing your receipt.
4. We could not provide text books for those who come for trial class.

Activity (1-2PM, 4-5PM) and Tai-Chi classes will start on 9/25/2016

經過了一個漫長的暑假，新的學年即將開始。
本學年的開學日期是本星期日9/11，下午2-4 PM，辦公室(H112)將於1 PM開放，敬請提早到校以便辦理註冊及找尋教室位置， 並請您注意以下訊息：

1. 已註冊並已繳書本費用： 請直接進入教室向班級老師領取書本。

Our 1st 2015 PTA Meeting and bubble tea sale!

1. There are 14 unclaimed prizes. Please stop by School office to pick them up this Sunday. After this weekend, all remaining prizes will be donated to PTA for future event use.
2. The first Spring PTA meeting has been rescheduled to March 15 between 2:10 and 3:00 in the office H112. Please join us this Sunday if you can.

Information session on February 8, 2015.

Weihwa Chinese school will be hosting an information session about tax and personal financial management between 2-3 pm on February 8, 2015. It's a free event and all families are invited to join us then in the school office H112. Both speakers, Mrs. Chang and Mr. Shia, have deep industry knowledge and have been in the business for more than 20 years.
The speakers will share the tax and personal financial management knowledge by illustrating charts and figures. You wil be able to ask them questions at the end of the presentation.
Please stop by and take advantage of this free information session before the upcoming tax season. Pre-registration can be done by the phone to get the head counts, but it's not required. Please contact Ivan Chen for the registration at 571-201-4266.

維華中文學校訂於二月八日(星期日) 下午二點至三點，舉辦免費「稅務理財專題講座」，地點在維華中文學校 (Lake Braddock Secondary School, Entrance #2, 9200 Burke Lake Road, Burke, VA 22015) 辦公室H112 。兩位主講人董麗麗女士及夏英華先生皆擁有二十多年專業知識與實務經驗。
如何了解稅法以及正確理財是我們每個人，每個家庭所必須面臨的經濟課題。專家將在講座上，利用簡易的圖表與數據來做比較；清悉明確的將稅務理財知識及觀念分享給大家。主講人將與聽眾面對面進行交流，並現場回答大家的提問。

1. Weihwa PTA encourage donations through CFC if you are or if you know someone who are federal employees. Please see the attached PDF for the CFC campaign signup. Weihwa's CFC # is 89773. The last day to participate in CFC is January 15, 2015 so hurry up if you still want to do it.
2. Weihaw PTA is pleased to announce that Mrs. Donna Tan has stepped up to serve as the Fund Raising co-chair for the school year of 2014 - 2015. Please join me and welcome her in the role. Her brief bio is also attached for your reference.
3. Bao Dao Food Orders have been placed. They should be available for pick up next Sunday (12/14/2014)
4. PTA is still asking volunteers to serve as Activity and Technology Chairs. If you are interested in helping, please contact me ([email protected])
5. Santa is going to visit our class rooms next Sunday (12/14/2014). We will be taking class pictures with Santa.

2. Mrs. Erin Clemens has stepped up as PTA Fund Raising Chair. You can see her bio in the attached pdf file.
3. Please see page 8 of the attached pdf file for the varieties of the fund raising programs
4. The donation campaign is still on. Our donation target is $600 and we are $110 away from the target. Please help us achieve this goal.
5. PTA welcomes new member sign up. We would like to have 40 members this year and we have 31 so far.

7. Bao Dao Food Orders are due 12/07/2014. Please bring your order forms by the due date. Your orders can be picked at school on December 14.
