I have gone to the sylvan way baptist church in Bremerton a few times now and i spoke with one of the elders there about becoming involved with things the church does so he told me if i wanted to i could help with the awana program they have ( it is a kids program) so i went tonight and i was told not tonight its not a good night come back next week so i said ok and left .. i am sure the man that said this to me had very good intentions but never ever push a new volunteer away cause it is very hard to walk thru a door and say yes i am here to help when you know absolutely nobody .. i am not a mormon never been to a mormon church but i have heard many times from many people that they actually help you to become involved in there church .. it is a real shame that the church teaching about jesus christ pushes people away

I wonder if we have any SWBC Young Folks who would be interested in making a little Pocket-Money? My driveway & my Front Steps are packed solid with snow. I really don’t care to walk out in the snow, because I don’t want to fall. I don’t have a Husband to shovel snow & I have no Family in the area. I would be pleased to pay for a job well done. I’m sure that I’m not the only SWBC Senior, that needs a hard-working snow-shoveler.
