Our Toddlers at Majors Road are practicing their gross motor skills by stacking blocks, one on top of the other!
Our Infants at Windermere practiced their mathematic skills by stacking and unstacking rings! Their teacher encouraged them to repeat the colors of each ring as they played.
After reading the book "Go Shapes Go," our Intermediates at Avalon used their fine motor skills to dig for and scoop out different shapes in the sensory table filled with "snow"! They worked on carefully matching the shapes and placing them in the correct tubes.
This month’s 💡 Did You Know 💡 is all about helping others! Our students give back to their communities throughout the year including holiday giving and our Kids Helping Communities initiative in the summer. 💕 Our older students lead the projects from brainstorm to implementation.

Our Toddlers at Windermere had fun practicing their mathematic skills! Students were encouraged to stack the blocks with little to no teacher help and independently count the numbers 1-5!

After talking about and looking at the letter "S", our Toddlers at Avalon used their fine motor skills to write the letter on a whiteboard! They erased the whiteboards and had fun trying again, over and over!

Our Beginners at Braselton dove into Winter with fun learning activities, like making snow globes and hot cocoa mugs!
Our Intermediates at Braselton sounded out and identified the letters of the alphabet!
After identifying the colors, our Beginners at Avalon used their small motor muscles while practicing their problem-solving skills to put together two large star builders!
Our Pre-K students at Majors Road worked on their addition! They reviewed numbers, practiced counting bears, and learned new words such as add, sum, and plus.

Our students at Avalon kicked off the Holiday's "12 Days Of Cheer" with Twin Day!
Beginners at Windermere practiced their math skills and identified the numbers 1-10! The students worked on their fine motor skills by squeezing tongs when placing the correct number of cotton balls to the corresponding number on the snowball.

Our Infants at Windermere are developing their literacy skills by looking at books independently! The students were encouraged to point out and name familiar objects and turn the pages in the book. They also explored the texture of a scarf - like the one they saw in the book!
This week at Braselton, our Intermediates practiced their lacing skills! Wellness, math, and literacy are all linked in this one fun activity. Way to learn and perfect those fine motor skills!
Our Pre-K students at Majors Road are learning all about polar animals! They learned how polar animals stay warm with a science experiment using a glove and shortening to resemble blubber. The students put both hands in icy water to see if the "blubber" glove kept their hand warmer!
Our Pre-K students at Kelly Mill worked on their language and literacy skills by identifying uppercase and lowercase letters! Students also practiced recognizing the difference between words, letters, and numerals as they followed the word “flag” from left to right, naming the letters.

Our Pre-K students at Braselton practiced their wellness, science, math, social-emotional, and fine motor skills all with one fun activity! Who doesn't love snowflakes?
Some say, "a picture is worth a thousand words." Our Pre-K students at Avalon worked in their journals, but instead of practicing writing words to share what they did over the weekend, the students drew a picture and asked their friends if they could figure out what they did!
Our Beginners at Majors Road are working on their mathematics skills. The students matched different shapes on a paper tree to decorate it for the holidays!
Toddlers at Windermere practiced their mathematics skills by sorting feathers by color! The students were encouraged to match the feather's color to the correct colored card. Students also practiced their language and literacy skills by repeating each color after their teacher!
At Majors Road, our Intermediates sorted and placed various manipulative objects on the corresponding color of a turkey’s feathers!
