Our incoming CAMP students started their Boise State Journey with an amazing retreat in McCall, ID! 🏕️🌲 From engaging activities and campfire bonding to swimming in the lake, it was a weekend full of fun memories. ☀️🚣‍♀️ As we prepare for the start of classes, we wish all our students a great year and can’t wait to see their amazing accomplishments! 🐴💙🧡

For our end of class celebration, we had the opportunity to go to the Boise Zoo! 🦒 CAMP had a blast working with our 2023-2024 Cohort during their first year of college. 💙🧡 We can’t wait to see the amazing accomplishments these students will continue to make throughout their time at Boise State University. 🐴

With dead week being right around the corner, we want to make sure all of our CAMP Scholars have the food to power up! 💥🔋 Join us Tuesday-Thursday for a variety of food options, plus snacks all week long.🍴🙌 Keep an eye out for our posts regarding what will be brought each day. Make sure you stop by to recharge, enjoy some food, and take a break with your peers! 😎

CAMP Professional Networking Conference ‘24✅

At Boise State CAMP, our students embraced the opportunity to branch out with community partners and expand on their networking skills. 👩‍💼👨‍💼 They were able to meet with professionals from diverse organizations such as Saint Alphonsus, Hp, Inc., WCA, Terry Reilly Health Services, ACLU of Idaho, and much more. 👏🏽✨

In commemoration of our first president George Washington we celebrate this day, Presidents’ Day. No classes today for all Boise State student and staff. Classes will resume back February 20th.

The Idaho Opportunity Scholarship is now accepting applications! 🗣️📢 This need-based scholarship is designed to financially assist Idaho residents to pursue higher education. Students can receive up to $3,500 for the academic year and it is renewable. 👏🏽 Don’t miss this opportunity! 📚

Eligibility:
✅ Have an unweighted,cumulative GPA of 2.7 or above
✅ Be an Idaho resident
✅Graduated or will graduate from Idaho high school or its equivalent or Idaho home school (GED/HSE from Idaho)
✅ Complete application by deadline, March 1st, 2023
✅2024-2025 FAFSA must be completed by March 1st, 2024

We'd like to invite you to the viewing of Eduardo Chavez's documentary, Hailing Cesar. This free event will be held at the Boise State University Special Events Center at the SUB on March 29, 2023. There will be a reception at 6pm which will be followed by the film at 7pm. There will be time for Q & A at the conclusion of the documentary. Please join us for this event during National Farmworker Awareness Week!

The CAMP Moving Forward Fund was established to provide additional financial support to CAMP students who have completed their first year of studies and continued to work toward degree completion at Boise State University.
