We are a mental health clinic that provides teens and families with individual/family counseling, parent coaching, adolescent/adult support groups, and mentoring non-profit organization that helps parents and their children in times of need and crisis.
A current study recently published in Reuters, found that teens, pre-teens, and young adults are increasingly seeking crisis help by going to the local ER. It's also been found that the majority of these visits is due to the youth failing to have a personal mental health professional-youth relationship where they can process their mental/emotional health needs and have long-term solutions for their needs/issues.
"Between 2011 and 2015, there was a 28 percent increase in psychiatric emergency department (ED) visits among young people ages 6 to 24, the study found. Visits spiked 54 percent for teens... (and) Suicide-related visits climbed more than two-fold during the study period."
Teen Hope of Idaho was established and founded to help teens in the midst of crisis, to find a long-term solution for their mental health needs/barriers by initiating and providing hope for a bright future.
We provide services for everyone in the family. Low/no-cost support groups just for teens as well as parents, mentorship for teens to engage them with a positive and caring adult, and individual and family therapy to process mental health concerns/needs.
Send us a message or share our page with someone you know. We'd love to hear from you.

"Adolescence is a time of exploring, challenging, thinking through values and questions about God, and longing for freedom. It's a season when teens don't want to control their urges or impulses and parents want ultimate control. This tension between parents and teens can produce arguing, power struggles and rebellion. Rather than trying to control a teen's freedom, parents should place effective boundaries around that freedom so their teen can learn self-control, frustration tolerance and delayed gratification. These skills can help him navigate the teen years and young adult life."

We specialize in working with parents and teens who are in crisis. We use individual and family counseling, mentoring, and parent coaching to move teens and families toward healing and recovery. We believe our experience, faith in God, and dedication to your family can help produce miraculous change.
We also help parents and teens who are transitioning back home from a residential program. This is a risky and vulnerable time. We provide support and guidance on how to deal with the many issues that arise from transitioning from residential treatment back into family and society.
We also facilitate groups for teens and parents to process their treatment and goals, as well as provide support and resources for families as they move forward in their journey towards healing and recovery.
We are familiar with the Idaho services that are available to support families, and we will refer to other organizations that may benefit your path to health.
