It seems as though we are all on the search for financial, physical, and mental freedom.

What If All Americans Exercised Regularly?

"Regular physical activity gives you longer to live, and as an added bonus, puts more money in your pocket. In 2016, research published in the Journal of the American Heart Association found that regular exercisers spent between $500 and $2,500 less on medical bills each year. These savings add up. The UNC team found that if all Americans were diligent about exercise, there would be a nationwide annual cost reduction of $143 Billion just from controlling diabetes and lowering blood pressure."

Slow down your thought processes and pay attention to the person you are conversing with. Genuinely be interested in what they have to say. Relate to them as best as you can. If you both are willing, then maintain physical contact; in order of importance and degree of physical contact: hugs, high-fives, and fist-bumps. Opinion: A powerful way to combat COVID

If you do not see this pandemic as a wake-up call, then do so now.

Let's improve your metabolic health to prevent and more effectively fight SARS-CoV-2.

Need help? We're standing by.

"COVID-19 as a catalyst to better health
Why am I bringing this up? My intention is not to fat-shame; instead, it is because we can and we should be doing something about metabolic health. We can use the global COVID-19 pandemic as a catalyst to become healthier people. Type 2 diabetes is reversible. Whether it is through approaches such as low-carbohydrate, ketogenic or intermittent fasting, people can reverse their type 2 diabetes in mere weeks while at home. Yes, weeks! A randomized control trial in 2017 showed that following a short course of intensive weight loss, some patients achieved a prolonged, drug-free diabetes remission. Generally, restricting carbohydrates and ensuring adequate protein in the diet is effective in improving metabolic health fairly rapidly. An A-Z weight loss study in the Journal of the American Medical Association indicates that a low-carbohydrate, high-protein, high-fat diet may be an appropriate approach for weight loss. There are many ways to achieve weight loss success, and it boils down to eating less, eating well and moving your body."

Could nasal nitric oxide help to mitigate the severity of COVID-19?

Keep using your nose to use Nitric Oxide...especially in preventing and fighting SARS-CoV-2!

This will be emphasized in our training classes for the next few months!

"The studies described here suggest that therapies designed to increase airway NO levels via gas inhalation and donor molecules may improve oxygenation and produce health benefits in COVID-19 subjects. In addition, limiting the lifestyle factors that reduce endogenous NO levels in the airways—such as mouth breathing and smoking—may also help to reduce SARS-CoV-2 viral load and symptoms of COVID-19 pneumonia by promoting more efficient antiviral defense mechanisms in the respiratory tract. In the absence of effective treatments targeting SARS-CoV-2, we believe that these strategies should be considered and tested to mitigate the symptoms of COVID-19. Finally, the overall severity of disease would also be decreased by combining nasal breathing with a healthy lifestyle that includes exercise, a full night’s sleep, and a balanced diet."
