McMillan’s Girl Scout troop will be selling cookies in a drive thru cookie booth today after school from 4-5:30! Come see our girls and load up on some of these delicious cookies…the new flavors are AMAZING!!!

A HUGE shout out to Siena K8 Magnet School Elementary School for donating hygiene items to our Community Schools for students in our district! We were able to build 50 complete hygiene kits and still had leftover items to supplement student needs! We love when our student take care of our own students!

A HUGE shout out to our Teacher of the Year Mrs. Bowerman (1st Grade) and our Classified Employee of the Year Mrs. Melinda (ERR Para)!

These women give their all everyday to the students at McMillan! We are so lucky to have them both. Be sure to congratulate them if you see them!

West Ada is hosting English as a second language (ESL) classes again!

Classes are Mondays and Wednesdays from 7-9 at Centennial High School(just down the road from McMillan). Childcare is available and all of it is FREE!

We would love to see you there!

Today we recognized these 84 students who showed leadership in learning in the 1st semester. 84! 🤗

They earned awards in the categories of McMillan’s Learner Dispositions: reflection, self-motivation, collaboration, thinking, curiosity, and perseverance! We also recognized 12 students for the Eagle’s Pride Award for having outstanding citizenship!

Also, shout out to Mrs. Frazier’s PM and Mrs. Carpentier’s classes for taking the Eagle Eye awards!

Friendly reminder! Tomorrow, January 14 is an early release dismissal day for students in grades K-5 and there is NO SCHOOL for students in grades 6-12.

Fun day to end the 2021 year at McMillan.

Family Read Night was a huge success. 58 cars, over 200 hotdogs and lots of smiling kids. Thank you to all that helped, especially those who organized, Becky, Heidi, Kamille and Heather.

Today 1000 diapers were dropped off from our friends over at Covenant Presbyterian Church of Boise! Thank you for helping babies in our own community, we appreciate you!

There is still time to donate. Did you know that the Idaho Diaper Bank provides 70,000+ diapers each month to babies in need locally? Let’s give back and help ease the burden for some of these families this Holiday season ❤️

Our first package of diapers for our diaper drive came in today!

We will be collecting packages of diapers all week for babies in need in our community!

We are gearing up for our diaper drive next week! We have a pretty hefty goal for our entire district! For McMillan to do our part, our goal has been set at 10,000 diapers. We can do this!
