[12/17/15] I know of a Christian girl moving up in here in January for 4 months. She is doing an internship at St. Lukes. She is looking for housing. She can pay her share. If you know someone who could use a roomie for 4 months, please let me know, ASAP. THANK YOU!
HELP!!! We have had an amazing month, serving lots and lots of students and staff! But now, our food is running low just before the holidays. We DESPERATELY need cans of fruit, veggies, canned chicken, soups, cereal, and chili. If you can help provide some, that would be great! Feel free to call if you want me to come pick it up.
nazarene.org College rivalries were put aside as campus ministry leaders from non-Nazarene community colleges, four-year colleges, and state universities gathered with USA/Canada Region Nazarene Youth International staff to discuss their growing ministries.
What a privelege!
These campus ministry leaders gathered this week with USA/Canada NYI staff for a time of dialogue. They minister with students from non-Nazarene institutions. They have unique ministries including coffee houses and a food pantry. Pray for them as they minister to thousands of young people.
85 at the international dinner on Wednesday. 20 countries represented.
The new pantry is open for business! Thanks to all who donated food, participated, and labored to get it ready!
Its picking up!

[12/17/14] THIS BRONCO project update: At least 3 churches have given. I know of at least $1600 that has been given for the homeless Boise State student. I would love to make it over $2000. If you can help, send your gifts to Crosswalks, with THIS BRONCO in the memo. Or pay on paypal through our website.
[12/09/14] The THIS BRONCO project is moving along. We are going to help a homeless BSU student this Christmas. Imagine the fun of studying for finals all night--in a car. Can you help?

[05/28/14] Another great night at the food pantry! 4 served! Right as we were about to close, a father of 3 kids --2 teens and a 9 year old--came in for the first time. Going to school to become a programmer. Living off of student loans, but has to wait for the summer money to get in. He drives 4 days a week for a 2 hour summer class all the way from Nampa. We were able to gift him with a large box of food. Afterward, I helped him out to his car, and he gifted me with sharing his story of his kids, his struggles, a little on his divorce, and life in general. What a genuine guy! Later, as I was leaving, the song "We believe" by the Newsboys came on. It is because We believe in God, in Jesus, the cross and resurrection, and the work of the Holy Spirit, that I find such joy in serving through this ministry!
[04/26/14] Today a young man came to the Horse Bit food pantry (our food pantry for Boise State). A sophomore--studying Linguistics. Seemed quite discouraged. Said he needed help, but doesn't like to rely on people. Lives on campus. We gave him food (not much, but he didn't want much). He told me that he had been homeless off and on since high school. Yet, he wants to leave that life, become passionate about his education, and get a better job. He also told me, with tears in his eyes, and some flowing freely, that he often goes 3 days without food. So grateful for the help we gave. I asked him to lunch Tuesday at a good restaurant. Yes, he needs food, but more he needs to know that he has value, worth, and that someone cares. Maybe he'll go. Maybe he won't. But it is moments like this that make what I do more than worth it!
[01/30/14] At our last International Dinner, we had 75+ people from 17 non-North America countries! An awesome dinner and time.
Thank you Idaho On Your Side for featuring the food pantry!
