Organization of the Month of March!

Check out the Career Closet tomorrow, April 30th from 1-3 in the Quad!
Cierra Abellera, a McNair scholar graduating with a degree in psychology in May, will host a free, pop up 'Career Closet' event on April 30 from 1-3pm in the Quad. Anyone with a student ID is welcome.
Cierra created the Career Closet to help all students dress professionally. When she attended a conference in Washington, D.C., she and several fellow students found themselves without enough professional clothing for three days of presentations. “I saw the need and got to work,” she said. “I want students to feel comfortable in professional spaces and using career-development resources."
The Career Closet officially opens fall 2019 in COBE Career Services, located on the first floor of the Micron Business and Economics building.

Outdoor Programs is hosting a backpacking trip on October 27th-28th in the Sawtooth Mountains. Only 10 spots available at $80 per person, but...Residents pay $20, and Housing will cover the other $60 for your trip!! Cost covers transportation and equipment. Sign-up today by stopping by the Outdoor Programs Office in the Rec Center. In addition, there is a mandatory pre-trip meeting set for Oct. 23rd at 9:00pm that all participants will have to attend. The Admissions Office is hiring!! They are looking to add 3 or 4 people as Student Recruitment Specialists for the upcoming academic year. In this position you would have two major responsibilities:
1. Provide a fantastic campus visit experience. You check visitors in, present during our Boise State presentation, guide a campus tour, and write postcards to all students on your tour.
2. Support our customer service team. During office hours you would help answer the phone, reply to emails, open transcripts, fold letters, and much more.
This position is listed as #1687698 on Bronco Jobs, and is for the 18-19 academic year with the potential of continuing into next summer (and even on to next academic year!). You would be scheduled for anywhere from 7-13 hours per week. More details and application instructions are detailed in the job posting.
