Grief Recovery changed my life, and I want to share it with as many people as possible. I have been told many times that I am a safe person to talk to, who will help you feel safe and confident to share your story, with no judgement or critique.

Grief is absolutely unique 🧡
There are no “stages” of grief. It is a unique experience for each individual as much as each relationship is unique to those who are in it. There isn’t a right or wrong way to process grief. 🧡
Did you know that there are no stages of Grief? In 1969, Elizabeth Kubler Ross wrote the book On Death and Dying in which she discussed emotions that a patient might feel upon finding out they have a terminal illness. The stages are Denial, Anger, Bargaining, Depression, and Acceptance. The problem is that people have applied these arbitrary stages that a terminal patient MIGHT feel to something that all grievers DO feel. And it’s simply not true. Some grievers cry, some don’t. Some grievers are angry, others are not. Grief is unique to each individual, so classifying stages can be harmful.
In case you question whether or not grief recovery works or if it’s helpful, please read this and reach out to me if you are interested or if you want to know more. You are not alone. 🧡

I am excited and grateful to announce that I will be a trained and certified Advanced Grief Recovery Specialist, able to do online one-on-one sessions of the Grief Recovery Method, starting on June 22nd. This unprecedented time in our history has left us all reeling. Many changes. Isolation. An incredible amount of loss, of many kinds. Grief Recovery can help you sort through all of your feelings, allowing you to feel what you need to feel and have someone listen without judgment or criticism. Our losses can hold us back from living our lives in the fullest, most loving way possible. If you would like to participate in online grief recovery, I'm now taking names of those who are interested. You could live across town from me or 3,000 miles away. I can be a heart with ears for you! ❤
Helping grieving people is my passion, and I can’t wait to get back to it. Seeing people realize what has been holding them back and coming to a new realization of being free brings me joy. As soon as possible, I'm going to start meeting with people again for grief recovery, one-on-one and in groups. Please private message me or leave a comment here if you are interested. Being free to love and be loved fully is an amazing thing! ❤️
Are you feeling unfocused or restless during this crazy, unprecedented time in our history? Every single one of us is dealing with a significant change in the pattern of our lives. Whatever you're feeling is completely normal. Allow yourself time to process and talk about how you're feeling. This change is a loss for all of us. We are all grieving. ❤

I saw this on a homeschool page I follow the other day, and I can’t get it out of my thoughts. The triangle is a wonderful thing to teach kids about life and relationships, but it’s also a vital thing to teach adults. To me, this is an embodiment of what grief recovery is. It starts with curiosity and an awareness that something isn’t as good as it could be, teaches responsibility and forgiveness, creates a safe place to be heard, and leads to a heart that is free to receive love and give more love away. Please contact me if you’re interested in doing one-on-one sessions. I will be starting a group this fall, with exciting changes coming to my grief recovery practice, so keep an eye out for that news! In the meantime, I am here to listen. ❤️

A pet loss can easily been minimized by society, but no one can tell you how broken your heart may be. I offer pet loss groups and a listening ear to help you deal with your broken heart. ❤️
Not only do I have grief recovery groups, pet loss groups and groups for parents/caregivers to help the children in their lives learn to grieve and process loss, I also do grief one-one-one sessions. If you aren’t up for a group situation, but need help processing grief or loss in your life, please reach out. There is someone who will listen and show you how to complete what is incomplete in your relationships. ❤️
I will be starting an 8 week Grief Recovery Method group on February 13, 2019 at 7:00 PM. Please contact me here or by Messenger if you are interested. We all have grief and loss that can build up over time and can limit our capacity to love and enjoy life as much as possible. Grief Recovery can help you deal with those losses.

The holidays can be difficult for people as they miss someone who is gone or grieve for something they never had. I’m here to listen. I’m available to do a seven week one-on-one program, and I’m planning on starting up an eight week grief group in January. Please contact me if you’re interested in knowing more.
It’s been a bit of a bumpy road to starting my next group, Helping Children With Loss, but it’s finally happening this week! The first class will be on Thursday, November 1st, because this Wednesday is Halloween. After this week, the class will be on Wednesday. It starts at 7:00 PM. One more new thing, and this is pretty great, there is a new format that is only four weeks instead of six! Please contact me on this post, through Messenger, or email me at [email protected] if you are interested in attending or have questions. Our children need us to help them learn how to process loss in a healthy emotional way!
This is a more detailed explanation of the group I’m starting on October 17th at 7:00. Please contact me if you have any questions or are interested in attending.
A very good friend of mine, who is going through an extremely difficult time in her life, shared this. It’s a simple, but powerful truth. Grievers want to be heard, not fixed, and not compared with others. Every loss is unique and individual.
