Great job Cheer Team!
Winter is just around the corner. Boise Schools are spread out across 450 square miles of Ada County, so sometimes, conditions may be extremely dangerous in one area while perfectly safe in another. Education is important and every missed day of school represents lost learning opportunities. However, the Boise School District’s primary concern is for the safety of all students.
While we will not cancel schools on days with normal wintery conditions, there are some ⚠️dangerous⚠️ conditions which may cause us to cancel school, such as frigid temperatures, ice, and heavy snowfall. Boise Schools follow our winter weather procedures. (See link below.)
Boise Schools will notify the public of school closures in a number of ways. The easiest way for Boise Schools families to receive this information is through our parent/guardian emergency text system. We also post closure information on our website at boiseschools.org.
