Dr. Si Steinberg, affectionately called Dr. Si by his patients and staff, is a Double Board Certified Child Adolescent and Adult Psychiatrist. He has been working with individuals and families for over thirty years. His philosophy with regards to prescribing medications is that medicine is merely the lubricant to grease the wheels of the machinery of therapy and living fully. Rarely is medication the center or primary component of an individual's treatment. Dr. Si strives to be as minimalistic as possible with medication interventions and encourages the resolution of underlying causes and conditions prior to jumping to conclusions about diagnoses and medication treatment regimens.

Our programs strive to provide comprehensive clinical care for young adults within our transitional and aftercare settings. We feel extremely fortunate to have Dr. Si on our team!

Dr. Si provides psychiatric support for clients at Northwest College Support, Gemba Gap Program, and Initiate Northwest.

What is the Gemba 現場 House ?
The Japanese definition of Gemba is “the actual place.” In the business world the definition refers to “the place where value is created.”

Our Gemba Gap Program located in Boise, Idaho is designed for 18-25 year olds who want to approach adulthood with a slower pace. Life moves at a fast pace and the transition to college and the working world is a big step. We want to join those young adults wanting to slow their pace, explore their interests, and find their purpose and path.
