Hoosier Hills Food Bank Community Partner Highlight: check out their amazing food distribution numbers!

We are grateful for the incredible work you all do for the Bloomington community and for the partnership that Crimson Cupboard has with HHFB to help serve and support the IU- Bloomington community.

It’s officially a record year for Hoosier Hills Food Bank. Through September 30, we have distributed 5,276,657 pounds of food, up 44% over the same period last year and topping our total 2019 distribution of 5,099,866 pounds with three months to go.

We deeply appreciate the community generosity and partnerships that has made it possible for us to meet this significantly increased need and we remain committed to continuing our efforts and to making the upcoming holidays a positive note in a challenging year!

IU Campus Farm

We’ve had a lot of gray days at the farm these past two weeks, but they have not been without excitement! We were visited last Tuesday by a pair of hawks who were taking advantage of the rich ecosystem created by our little campus farm. It’s always humbling to be reminded of the cyclical nature of the food system - life and death in constant chorus. Thank you IU Campus Farm and Campus Kitchen at IU for the produce and support!

Stop by the Crimson Cupboard at 800 N. Union St. (Campus View Apartments) from 5-7 pm tonight to grab some veggies!

Tonight's bags have full heads of lettuce from the IU Campus Farm along with daikon radishes.

Hello all, for the rest of the semester we'll no longer be giving out produce bags at Goodbody Eatery due to lack of demand. Instead, all bags will be available at the Crimson Cupboard during their Tuesday hours (5-7 pm). Crimson Cupboard is located in the Campus View apartments just off of 10th street.

Tonight's bags have full heads of lettuce from the IU Campus Farm along with daikon radishes.

We hope you continue to use this resource and we're sad to have to make this change. Keep an eye out for more announcements as things continue to evolve.

Thanks for your continued support everyone!
