Students, I sent this as a mass email this morning, but I am also posting it here!
- - - - - - -
Students,
Congratulations on finishing your 2020-2021 school year, and a BIG CONGRATULATIONS to all of our graduates who crossed the stage yesterday evening. It was a successful event! A few reminders as summer break begins:

1) I announced Term 5 character award winners on Facebook live this morning, along with some announcements for summer break: https://fb.watch/639oQnwQfq/

2) If you are working on Odysseyware classes over the summer, they MUST be finished no later than July 25th. After that point, Odysseyware will be reset for the 2021-2022 school year and work that is in progress will be cleared away. I will say this again: ALL ODYSSEYWARE WORK during summer MUST be done BEFORE JULY 25th if you want those credits to be added to your transcript upon your return this next school year.

3) Hotspots are being disabled over summer. Goodwill will return to paying for these wifi hotpots when school resumes again in August. If you still have a hotspot, please hold onto it until we can arrange a time to get it from you. I will be in SOMETIMES during the summer, and can post on Facebook when those dates will be.

4) Your teachers and coaches have away messages in their emails over summer. If you are unable to reach them about something, it is likely because they are enjoying their summer break! I will occasionally be checking the office phone voicemails (812-353-8084) and my email ([email protected]) over the summer. You all also have my personal cell right now. I cannot promise how immediately responsive I will be, but will always try to get back to you within somewhat of a timely manner, and I appreciate your patience. I would like the Excel team to have a proper break, so feel free to bug me more than you bug them. 🙂

5) If you are in need of resources over summer break, don't forget to check out this DOCUMENT that has great links to resources in Monroe and surrounding counties. This link is also going to be posted in the staff members' away messages in their emails: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1D70wDjhUFMkquiE3Xy2nLyiUqaNjZmLMAH2PnB1qbb0/edit?usp=sharing

6) Have a wonderful summer! School resumes MONDAY, AUGUST 2nd!!!

[06/10/21]   The graduation ceremony will be inside this evening due to potential rain. Graduates, due to the limited space, please inform folks that we can only fit the additional ticketed guests you’ve been allowed. We will either be using Facebook live or recording the event and posting it.

Everyone will be asked to wear masks indoors, unless they are speaking at the podium or coming up to get their diploma. Thank you!
