The Typography Studio at the School of Art + Design, Indiana University Bloomington is an interdisciplinary facility focusing on exploring the historical, contemporary, and future intersections of typography, design, letterpress, printmaking, and book arts.
The studio is well-equipped with six Vandercook cylinder proofing presses, 120+ cases of metal type, and an historically significant collection of 90+ cases of antique wood type.
We create interactive experiences for people of all ages including video games, ebooks, interactive stories, and simulations that inspire and teach.
