Before our dear Dennis Nollette departed from us all too soon, he created a magnificent series called Zach & Dennis: How It All Began that got its start from our annual film festival years back and have since then turned into a 2 season complete series that is available on Amazon Prime and YouTube.

The BHP community, already reeling as so many of us are, took another body blow upon learning yesterday that the priceless and kind Dennis Nollette passed away in his sleep this past weekend.
Dennis started BHP in 2009, but as is the case with so many of our longtime students, he became so interwoven with the community that it becomes hard to remember having met him — he simply seemed as if he had always been here. Dennis came to acting later in his life, but was so utterly comfortable in his own skin that every performance had the ease, confidence and charm of someone who had been performing his whole life. An inimitable stamp was put on every character Dennis played — it became almost impossible to imagine a role in any way other than how he played it.
Professionally, he breathed life into the difficult role of the haunted piano teacher Michel in Allen’s 2015 play “Disconnection,” and over the last three years created from whole cloth the popular web series “Zach & Dennis: How It All Began,” where he moved effortlessly between roles as writer, director, producer, and star — all while using 100% fellow BHP students as the other actors, writers and producers over 19 episodes that have garnered 3.6 million YouTube views. He was unflappable, charming, a true uber-mensch. This is a tough post to write. There is so much to say, and none of it seems to live up to what Dennis meant to so many people. March has been a terrible year.

"The bill would provide unemployment benefits for those who are self-employed, those who are seeking part-time employment, those who do not have sufficient work history or those who otherwise would not qualify for regular benefits. A key provision covers those who saw their future projects canceled because of the coronavirus.
The benefits will run for up to four months, and boost weekly aid by $600. Eligibility is retroactive to Jan. 27."
