Are you ready to embark on a challenge where less than 1% of American’s are willing or able? Men and women answer the call everyday, the time to take action is now. This is not a career, it’s a lifestyle that will open so many doors that you thought were not possible!
This is what Army recruits go through at boot camp.

👀 Did you hear what the General from the Active Army & Reserve Recruiting said about the National Guard?!?!?!
“ It’s a challenge because, right now in many parts of the country, the states put their National Guard ahead of the regular Army and Army reserve,” General Snow said. “Right now, in 40 out of 50 states, it is actually more advantageous for a young person to join the National Guard than it is to join the Army Reserve.” According to General Snow; the former Commanding General of United States Army Recruiting Command.
“ what the states do, particularly if [potential recruits] have the desire to pursue post-secondary education, the states add state benefits, predominantly in the form of educational benefits, on top of the federal benefits,” he said.

military.com Due to state incentives, the Guard often has an easier time recruiting than the Army's other components. A new pilot could change that.
High schools are closed, colleges are closed, employers are laying employees off, scholarships are dwindling down, and sport seasons are cancelled.
1️⃣If you didn’t join the National Guard due to your plate being full from high school or college, now is the time.
2️⃣If you didn’t join the National Guard because you already had a job, now is the time.
3️⃣If you didn’t join the National Guard because you assumed you’d get a full ride or other scholarships, now is the time.
4️⃣If you didn’t join the National Guard because you were on pace to get an athletic scholarship, now is the time.
We have not slowed down our enlistment process and the people of America need stability now more than ever. The majority of our excuses to not take the next step have been taken from us. Take that step while your life is on hold. Secure a way for you to pay for college, while helping your community, state, and Nation🇺🇸
If you would like to get more information about how the Guard may be able to help you accomplish your goals, reach out and see if we could be a good fit for you. Warning: you may realize your full potential and just how much you can help our citizens in times of crisis such as these.
I have completed 13 years and I have never regretted any part of my decision to serve, except not serving sooner!

usmilitary.com 10 Reasons you should Join the National Guard
The Army National Guard predates the founding of the nation and a standing military by almost a century and a half, and is therefore the oldest component of the United States Armed Forces. America's first permanent militia regiments, among the oldest continuing units in history, were organized by the Massachusetts Bay Colony in 1636. Since that time, the Guard has participated in every U.S. conflict from the Pequot War of 1637, The American Revolution, WWI&II, to our current deployments in support of Operation Enduring Freedom (Afghanistan) and Operation Iraqi Freedom (Iraq). Happy birthday to the Army National Guard!
Sometimes you have to counter smack with facts. There is a lot of intentionally misleading information (unprofessional garbage) coming from our Army Reserve Recruiting Counterparts lately about the National Guard. I get it...they have a job to do. Roger Out. JUST TO BE CLEAR though...The National Guard IS part of the overall Army Force. The Training IS ALL ARMY. The fact that we are a state owned component of the Army does not mean you get short changed in your career or your opportunities. Did you know:
The Army National Guard has 354,200 Soldiers in all 50 States and 4 Territories of the United States. (Big Army has 490k, Army Reserves have 202k).
We make up 34% of the total Army Force and we have:
8 Division HQs, Six General Officer level operational Commands including sustainment as well as air and missile defense.
126 Operational Brigades including 28 Brigade Combat Teams (BCTs) (a mix of Infantry, Armor and Stryker BCTs).
48 multi-functional support brigades (combat aviation, surveillance and sustainment).
48 functional support brigades and groups (Military Police, Engineer and Regiional Support.
Two Special Forces Groups. Yes, We have Special forces.

Your service transfers with you to whatever State or Territory you reside in. Its called an Inter-State Transfer and contrary to some weird urban rumor...it is ACTUALLY real.
We are state funded, as in our facilities are paid for by the state of Arkansas. Our paychecks come from the federal government. Our state tuition bill is state funded and it’s also a bill signed by the Governor. It’s REAL and it trumps any education incentive offered by any other military branch.
We are capable of deploying without any additional assets from active or reserve components. Meaning we have combat arms and we have just about every support job offered by the Army that is needed to function in a combat or peace keeping operation. You pick your job granted you qualify with your ASVAB test scores!
We exist because we are essential to the Fighting Force known as the United States Army. We exist because we provide significant forces for National Defense.
Do your homework folks and don’t be fooled by those who count on you NOT doing it.
