The LAST workout release is “Franken Fran” for Valentine’s Day Massacre by on February 4th, 2023!

Team Workout Flow -
2-Person Teams (All Divisions): Athletes can partition the work however they would like in each round. Only one athlete works at a time while the other rests.

Overview of Movement Standards -
Double-Unders: The rope passes under the feet twice for each rep.
Single-Unders (Scaled): The rope passes under the feet once for each rep.
Thruster: Athletes clean the bar, breaking parallel on the squat in the receiving position and complete a push press in one swift movement with full lockout overhead.
Pull-Up: Athletes can perform strict, kipping or butterfly pull-ups. Chin must be over the pull-up bar for each rep to count.
Ring Rows (Scaled Females): Athletes will place their heels on the taped floor under the rings, grip the rings and pull their body up, keeping the body in a straight line, to touch the ring to the chest/lat.
Full movement standards can be viewed on our REGISTRATION PAGE under “Workouts”!

Scoring Standards -
Final score is max repetitions completed during the AMRAP.

🚨WORKOUT RELEASE!🚨

THIRD workout release is “Transcend” for Valentine’s Day Massacre by on February 4th, 2023!

Team Workout Flow -
2-Person Teams (All Divisions): Athletes will alternate rounds for the entirety of the workout. Athlete one will start with the first round, completing 12-9-6-3 rep scheme in its entirety. Athlete two may not swap in until round one is complete, then athlete two completes round two. One athlete works at a time, and can only swap in once the round is complete.
Co-Ed Divisions: It is up to the athlete to switch the box height between alternating rounds. Either athlete can do it.

Overview of Movement Standards -
Toes to Bar: Athletes can perform strict or kipping, both toes must touch the bar for each rep to count and break the parallel plane of the rig behind them.
Knees Above Parallel (Scaled): Athletes break the parallel plane of the floor with their knees while breaking the parallel plane of the rig behind them.
Dumbbell Sn**ch (Single): Athlete must touch one head of the dumbbell to the floor for each rep to count and fully lock out overhead. One swift movement from ground to overhead.
Double Dumbbell Box Step Up: Athletes must hold the dumbbells in a farmers carry position and step up on the box with both feet touching the box and step down. Must open up the hips on top of the box.
Double Dumbbell Devil’s Press: Athletes dumbbells, chest and thighs must touch the floor in the burpee. Sn**ches are completed with both dumbbells in one swift movement. Full lockout overhead to complete the rep.

Scoring Standards -
Final score is time completed. If the individual or team is capped the final score is CAP + reps remaining out of the total reps needed to complete the workout.

🚨WOD RELEASE!🚨

Our SECOND workout release is “Overdrive” for Valentine’s Day Massacre by on February 4th, 2023!

Team Workout Flow -
All Divisions: Will change/add their own weights. Weights will be available in the lane and must utilize clips for safety purposes.
2-Person Co-Ed Teams*: Athletes can partition the wall balls however they would like. One athlete works at a time, with two wall balls in the lane. Once the first set of wall balls is complete, the athletes will move onto the clean portion. Athletes will evenly share the barbell reps between Male and Female. For example: On the first set of cleans, the Male athlete will complete 10 cleans and the Female athlete will complete 10 cleans. They can complete it however they would like, sets of 5, sets of 2, or even back and forth singles. Athletes continue throughout the chipper with one athlete working at a time while the other rests.
Individuals: Complete as written.

Overview of Movement Standards -
Wall Ball: Athletes first perform a squat then throw to a 10’/9’ target on the rig or wall. The squat must break parallel in the starting and receiving position for each rep to count.
Clean: Athletes choice of power or squat cleans, either can be used. Athletes must fully stand with the bar for the rep to count.

🚨WOD RELEASE🚨

The FLOATER “Redemption” workout release for Valentine’s Day Massacre by on February 4th, 2023!

Team Workout Flow -
2-Person Teams (All Divisions): Athlete one will have a 4 minute clock to complete as written. There will be NO CHANGE TIME (for an 8 minute time cap) between athletes. Athlete two can sit on the rower as athlete one is completing their AMRAP. Once the 4 minutes is complete for athlete one, athlete two will start their 4 minute clock to complete as written.

Overview of Movement Standards -
Rowing: No rolling meters will be accepted. Athletes must wait on the rower until it hits 500 meters to continue on to the AMRAP portion.
Sn**ch: Athletes choice of power or squat snatches, either can be used. Athletes must fully stand with the bar while locking out arms, hips, and legs.
Bar-Facing Burpee: Athletes chest and thighs must touch the ground when performing the burpee. RX & Masters 35+ divisions will complete a two foot takeoff, while Scaled divisions will complete a hop-over (one or two feet) or step over the bar.

Scoring Standards -
Two scores will be recorded for this workout
Score 1: Row time
Score 2: Reps completed during the AMRAP

Today, we take the time to reflect on a tragic day in American history.

We reflect on the lives lost, the families of the victims, the first responders who put their lives on the line and lost their lives to save victims from the wreckage, the various protective agencies that continue to work day in and day out to help keep us safe.

We take a moment to appreciate all the things we have in life.

And we remember that in our darkest times, we come together in search for light.

We’d like to thank all first responders and members of our armed forces who work to help keep us safe.
