This is done through the application of therapeutic touch. Whatcom Community College's massage practitioner program is approved by the Washington State Massage Board, a subsidiary of the Washington State Department of Health. Whatcom's massage practitioner program offers flexibility: Day or evening programs Whatcom’s massage practitioner program offers students two program options to pursue study in this field: a daytime program that starts each fall quarter and an evening program that starts each spring quarter. The latter is ideal for students who require a class schedule that accommodates their daytime work schedule or other obligations. Online and hybrid courses: The massage program continues to offer enhancements in class scheduling and delivery format. Eight of the core massage program classes are delivered online or in a hybrid delivery format. Hybrid courses have the lecture portion of class delivered online and the laboratory portion delivered face-to-face in our dedicated lab. Check with a program advisor for information on all courses offered throughout the year and to discuss the online learning experience.

This is a great opportunity to shape the type of presentations provided by NCMC for your fellow LMTS and a wonderful way to get to know our PNW massage community. Prime is seeking to hire part-time Licensed Massage Therapists to work weekday, afternoons, and evenings as well as weekends. LMT’s must be licensed to practice in Washington State, have at least 2 years experience working with athletes and providing sports massage techniques.
• Assess, identify, and treat common non-emergent sports related injuries.
• Collaborate with athletic trainers at Prime Sports Institute to provide educated recommendations to the client, coaches, and parents regarding an athlete’s ability to continue play and adjustments to their training schedules/plan.
• Identify medical situations that require advanced medical care and refer where appropriate.
• Document patient care using EMR at Prime Sports Institute.
• Maintain a well-groomed, professional appearance.

available to host classes, workshops, and/or seminars, as approved by Prime, if that is part of

Prime team members may use the Training Room, including all modalities available (provided

Prime team members may use the equipment within the gym and movement studio, provided
they are mindful of other practitioners and patrons who are also utilizing the space. To maintain
an atmosphere of respect, if asked, a team member must yield to a practitioner or patron until
they are finished.
