We are a Reggio Emilia inspired early childhood school located in Ashburn, Virginia serving children aged 6 weeks through 12 years old. Through the Reggio Emilia-inspired approach, children are given the tools and support to steer through their own distinct paths of discovery.
Our project-based curriculum encourages children to be active participants in the learning process and to develop the skills needed to explore their ideas, interests, and questions in a meaningful way.

Thank you for the warm memories, Princess Anna!
In case the winter weather this morning didn't tip you off, the "Frozen" sisters are at it again! We look forward to welcoming Anna between 4-5pm on Friday afternoon for another wonderful visit from everyone's favorite princesses!

With Read Across America Day (3/2) falling on Lifetouch Picture Day last week, we postponed celebrating Dr. Seuss's birthday until today! We honored the importance of reading today alongside our friends at Waltonwood Ashburn with a fun zoom call, reading books and talking about our favorite stories!

Happy snow day, Compass Families, from our snow angels to yours! There's nothing like a little bit of snow play to put a smile on our faces. In anticipation of inclement weather tonight and tomorrow morning, The Compass School of Ashburn will open after a 2-hour delay on Monday, January 3, 2022, in order to ensure the safe arrival of staff and families. We will see you after 9am if you need to travel tomorrow! Stay warm. โ๏ธ
