Primrose School of Ashburn

The Leader in Early Education and Care®

Primrose Schools is a national family of private accredited early education and care schools across the country. We are more than just a daycare. Through our research-informed Balanced Learning® approach, we provide meaningful learning experiences for children beginning at 6 weeks of age. The curriculum in our classrooms for infants, toddlers, preschool, kindergarten and after-school not only inspire a love of learning but also empower children’s potential preparing them for lifelong success. Each Primrose school is independently owned and operated by Franchise Owners, who partner with parents to help children build the right foundation for future learning and life, and offer an environment that helps children have fun while nurturing Active Minds, Healthy Bodies and Happy Hearts®. Our Mission: To forge a path that leads to a brighter future for all children. Our Vision: To deliver the best and most trusted early education and care for children and families across America. Don’t forget to bring in non-perishable and canned food items for our Caring and Giving food drive. Thank you for helping us keep our Primrose Promise. Together we can make a difference!

It is important that our students know heroes don’t wear capes or know how to fly—true American heroes risk their lives for our country, for our children and families. Honoring the bravery of our veterans teaches our students to be grateful for the unmerited gifts that others give to them every day.

Help us congratulate Ms. Levitt as our Apple of Our Eye for the month of November!

Thank you or all you do for us Ms. Levitt! We are so happy to have you as part of our Primrose family!

Today we kick off the annual Primrose Caring and Giving Food Drive, part of the Primrose Schools’ Primrose Promise Giving Event curriculum. This provides a terrific way to teach children about responsibility and involving them in their community.

As a part of local community drives to collect food for Thanksgiving meals, the Primrose Caring and Giving Food Drive actively connects children to those who are in need. Unlike other food drives, the Primrose program involves children as young as age three. The children work together not only to earn money for the food, but also to shop and deliver the items to those in need. At Primrose Schools, we pride ourselves on helping children to become active members in their community as well as throughout the world. We want our children to learn about generosity and how to be kind toward one another as a way of life, without expectation or reward.

Each classroom will create a collection box for all donations that will be located outside of their classrooms as part of the Caring and Giving Primrose Promise Giving Event project this month. Please place all donations such as: canned food, non-perishable food, diapers, wipes, cleaning supplies, baby food or feminine hygiene products, in your child's classroom donation box. #CaringandGiving

What a great way to end the month of October!

On Friday we celebrated our annual Halloween costume parade. All of our students and staff joined in on the fun and dressed up for the occasion. Everyone looked absolutely SPOOKtacular! 👻

A rainy and windy Halloween won’t stop our students from visiting the Pumpkin Patch. Even put Primrose friends came out to join in on the fun! Our teachers are truly AMAZING! 🎃

There are no tricks with these healthy treats. These spooky snacks will have even the pickiest eaters asking for more. https://bit.ly/2PwttDj

Don't forget today is our Parade of Costumes at 3:30pm. See you all here for a faBOOlous time!

Join us for our annual Parade of Costumes on Friday, October 25, at 3:30 pm! This parade is one of our biggest events, so you don't want to miss out!

Most children enter the "Me Do It" stage between 18 and 36 months with varying degrees of intensity depending on their temperament. This stage comes with challenges such as toddler temper tantrums, but it's also cause for celebration. It means that your child recognizes herself as separate from others and feels safe and confident enough to take risks. When children are allowed to try things on their own, they master new skills and build self-esteem. Allowing your child opportunities to do things independently takes longer than if you helped, but the end results are worth the extra effort!

The Primrose Friends have their costumes ready! What is your family dressing up as?
