• 2.00 hours per class
• Thursday 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm
• Duration 8 weeks from August 15, 2019 to October 3, 2019
• $250 for the course

Please Note:
All Third Grade students in Loudoun County Public Schools take the NNAT in the fall of 2019.

What types of questions are on the NNAT?
There are four categories of questions on the NNAT:
• Pattern completion: requires the student to complete a pattern by determining both general orientation and design details of the missing portion.
• Reasoning by Analogy: requires the students to recognize a logical relationship between several geometric shapes
• Serial Reasoning: requires the student to recognize sequence of shapes and changes in a sequence
• Spatial Visualization: the student must recognize how two or more designs would look when combined

Loudoun county GT admission criteria to qualify for the pool is scoring 97 percentile or above on either CogAT (in two sections out of three) or NNAT.

Aloha STEMmer Camp for 10-14 years old to explore and discover the career opportunities in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math.
Students select unique, interactive computer simulations of STEM careers that engage their minds and show how science and technology can change people’s lives. Additionally the program includes related hands-on teacher-led projects.

Some activities include
• Rescue a virtual dolphin including attaching a robotic tail.
• Solve energy and transportation needs in a new city.
• Use modern manufacturing techniques to design and build a new concept car.
• Explore technology and techniques used for robotics design as sensors, electrical circuits etc.

We are extremely excited to announce Aloha Accelerated School Math Program for 4th to 6th graders starting Saturday, March 4, 2017. It is a teacher-led math program with computer-assisted adaptive learning. The goal of the program is to identify the strengths and weaknesses of individual child and customize the learning at accelerated phase. Advance the child’s learning at twice the rate that they learn at school.
We would like your child to take a pretest before the enrollment. The goal for the pretest is to determine what areas your child needs to focus on for math.
Please bring your child for the assessment.
Pre-test schedule:

Registration Now Open for ALOHA Mind Math's First Kid's National Math Challenge
Registration is now open and with two first prizes of $10,000, children enrolled in ALOHA Mind Math programs across the U.S. are gearing up to participate in their 1st National Math Challenge. This math test-based competition, designed for children in Kindergarten through 6th grade, will have three rounds, with the finals held in Edison NJ in the spring of 2017.

Participants must be active, registered ALOHA students [any program] to be eligible.
