Families train for FREE?! Pretty much!
At Super Kicks, once you enroll 2 people in your immediate family, the rest of your family trains for free!
I made this change when I first started teaching--when I was 15 years old.
At that time, we had kids classes and adults classes. If you were an adult, you had to come to the late night advanced class. They were always small.
One day, a dad of two boys said, "Mr. Alley... I want to train with my boys, and I don't mind being in the kids class with them."
I agreed... and then a light bulb went off.
There was really no difference between how we taught kids vs. how we teach adults.
The dad turned into an amazing student, and they had an extraordinary time as a family in class together!
I asked my instructor if we could change ALL the classes to family classes, and a new era of instruction began.
27 years later, it's just how we teach classes.
Two kids enrolled is the same as three kids plus two parents. Immediate family? You're all in.
Want to give it a try? Schedule your first free class for your entire family, grab some free uniforms, and I'll see you in class! Use this link!

Here she is at 4 years old, earning her yellow belt.
Here she is at 14 years old, a 2nd degree black belt, accepting my offer to join the team and start working at Super Kicks. š„
Thatās what happens here. A lot.
Kids earn their black belt. They continue to train and work towards degrees of black belt.
Then, when they are 14, if they have the right attitude and desire, they join the team and start helping in the school, changing lives with their martial arts and leadership training.
Itās a beautiful thing. ā¤ļø

There is so much āSuper Kicksā happening in this picture from graduation yesterdayā¦
The young man being assisted started when he was 6 years old, and has been training now for over 5 years. Heās a 2nd degree black beltāstrong, talented, dedicatedāand earned another midterm yesterday, testing towards his 3rd degree.
So many of our students at Super Kicks earn their 1st degree of black belt and decide, āThis is not the end. This is the beginning.ā They continue to learn and train well after black belt. They recognize thereās so much more to learn.
The instructor on his knee assisting the young man started when he was around 10 years old. He earned his black belt, continued to learn and train, and as a teenager, began working for us. (We hire lots of our students when they turn 14 years old.)
He learned how to assist in classes, recruit at marketing events, coach students one on one, and lead and develop new team members coming on board. Now heās a full time staff member, serving our school beautifully. Heās actively pursuing his 4th degree black belt.
Like I saidā¦ thereās a lot of Super Kicks happening in this picture. ā¤ļø
Iām really proud of these two. And, to those of our students who were promoted to their next rank or level yesterday, congratulations! Iām incredibly proud of you!
Keep moving towards your next degree of black belt! See you in class this week!

SILVER STAR ALERT! š Report cards out tomorrow!
It's important to us that students are learning how to have a black belt attitude here at Super Kicks, AND demonstrating that same effort in school!
When your student gets their report card tomorrow, bring it in and let us recognize their hard work in front of the class with a SILVER STAR for their uniform! It goes in the same place as their gold stars for chores.
"But Master Alley...What if my kid didn't get good grades?"
So glad you asked!
We do what my instructor did with me one grading period that I didn't do so well...
He coached me, encouraged me, and showed me he cared. And then he held me accountable and said he'd check in next grading cycle.
I did better that time...š
Thank you for allowing us to be part of your child's life, and encourage them in more ways than just karate.
Have a great rest of your day! Bring in those report cards!

The attendance card of a new student from years agoā¦
Best. Day. Ever. š
Using the screens to teach the curriculum has been so valuable for us. We get to have an extra instructor on the floor helping students, instead of being stuck up front. Plus, everyone can see š¤

āI would not be a true friend to you, as a business owner and leader, if I failed to list the negative parts of my experience today along with my positive experiences. So here goes:
POSITIVE Parts of my experience this morning: I never once felt lost or awkward or confused. From the time I walked in to the time I left, I wasn't lost or confused and I didn't feel awkward. I felt welcomed, guided, and instructed.
Instructor Gelles (I hope I'm using their names and titles properly) Immediately welcomed me and told me what to expect. She walked me through the first steps and made sure I knew what was going on.
I was passed to Instructor Mongelli, but didn't feel passed. It was just normal. She was there, and she led me through the next steps including tying my belt for me and showing me how to do it.
Throughout the class, I was WAY out of my comfort zone, but I never felt embarrassed or hindered from doing what I was instructed to do. I felt physically pushed, but not to the point of it being impossible.
And I felt like I learned what I was able to learn.
The teaching was great. And the way the instructors were there to work with us, was awesome.
Instructor Gomez was thorough and great at following up on the lesson. Master Holeman was super encouraging and took an active interest with everyone.
Instructor Mongelli ended my journey for the morning and did a great job of it. She anticipated what I was going to ask, and answered it before I even asked a question. She covered things so well.
I left wanting to come back.
Now to the negatives. Sir, I cannot think of one. And I could not find one. I really could not. I almost wish I could have, I guess, so I don't seem like a liar when I say that my visit today was entirely positive from beginning to end.
I am excited to continue! THANK YOU for allowing me to be a part of this.ā
Thank you Mr. Queen, for this beautiful review of your first introductory lesson with us. We are all excited for many, many more classes, helping you achieve your goal! ā¤ļø

This week, we taught our Little Leaders class (5 years old and under) differently, and I couldnāt be more pleased.
Since forever ago, we have taken the curriculum that they are responsible to learn, and taught ALL of itāevery class. So for 8 weeks, it was the EXACT. SAME. CLASS.
My thought process was, they are young, and I want them to get it.
The NEW way we are teaching the class is exactly how we teach the regular beginner class:
Week 1: Lower body technique
Week 2: Upper body technique
Week 3: Grab technique
Week 4: Lower body technique
Week 5: Upper body technique
Week 6: Grab technique
Week 7: Review everything.
Week 8: Test everything.
This way, they still get the repetition, but they get more variety. It will also give us the ability to take the technique we are working on in class and do more drills, and train it in different ways. Itās going to be a lot more fun. š¤© Iām confident they will learn even better.
The feedback we received, just on week 1 alone, has been tremendous.
My belief/goal/hope/ambition is that students (and parents š
) will enjoy the variety of the classes, and will look forward to training even more.
(Btw, these two Little Leaders just earned their TWENTIETH gold star, and earned these trophies! Little Leaders, learning to be leaders at home! ā¤ļø)
