Annie is a very special member of our family. She hangs out between B Street and Washington and the Sacred Heart Church. She walked us to church Sunday morning but hasn't been seen since. We are afraid someone thought she was a stray and took her home after Sunday Morning Mass.
Annie was selected by my father from the humane society to comfort him during his battle with cancer. She is the last gift he left to us to help us heal when he passed.
Annie is a neighborhood fixture who walks my children back and forth to school every day and to church on the weekends. She loves to greet all the student coming and going from the school and sometimes sits outside the school doors waiting for her girls to come home.
Please. If anyone has seen her message me or bring her home. She is loved and missed!

"Sacred Heart is very important to our family. My husband went to school there as a child and now both of our children currently attend. I struggled in the beginning when we were putting our daughter into pre-school at Sacred Heart, I didn’t know if that is what I wanted. I, being the non-Catholic parent, really struggled especially when my daughter asked me why I wasn’t like her and daddy, but then I decided to try and give it a chance and open up my heart to this place and see what Sacred Heart is all about. I am so thankful that I did and I am almost done completing my RCIA classes and I will be Catholic just like my little family and that makes my heart happy. You do not realize how much impact you have on a small 4 year old child until they bluntly ask you to your face why are you different mom. It really makes you stop and think, what kind of example do you want to be for your children. We want to be the kind of example that shows our children they need to be kind and honest and that is exactly the type of education you will get from Sacred Heart. I can honestly say that I didn’t choose Sacred Heart, Sacred Heart chose me! And I am thankful it did! This school not only gave me an opportunity to open up my heart and share it with others it also provides a great Catholic education and our children love there school and so do we. Sacred Heart provides the fundamentals that our children will need to get through life and not just academically but grow spiritually as well by having a strong Catholic faith that they can share with others as it was shared with their mom. We are SO thankful for everyone that came out and supported Sacred Heart Catholic School last night at Pizza Ranch. We were blown away by all the support.
We had great workers. These are a few of the workers but we had many more. We had 29 students come out and work to support their school. Way to go Blazer families.

Sacred Heart Blazers raised $1328.56 for the Katherine Drexel Fund. We are proud of them for raising money to help provide funds for Catholic education. This is the best year yet with their classroom Penny War and Free Dress Days.

Dear Blazer families,
As you are aware, our school has been hit hard with the Covid virus this past week. Many of your families have been affected and now we are unable to adequately staff our classrooms with teachers until Wednesday, January 26, at the earliest. To ease this situation school will not be in session Friday, January 21 - Tuesday, January 25. Classes will resume on Wednesday, January 26. Because we have days built into our calendar for unexpected events such as snow days, we will not have to make up this time.
Afterschool will be offered this afternoon. We would appreciate children being picked up as soon as it is possible for you since we have a minimal staff.
Thank you for your ongoing support and flexibility during this time. Our priority is to always provide your child, whom you have entrusted to our care, with a quality Catholic School education. We are confident that when we return next week, we'll be able to continue this mission. Please don't hesitate to reach out with any questions or concerns.

Sacred Heart Catholic School plans on being in school Jan. 19th- 21st. We will still have hot lunches and the menu will be the same. There will be NO bus transportation.
