Thanks, Hillcrest Bible Baptist Church for all of the snacks that have been dropped off this week!

Big "thank you"'s go out to all of the people who have dropped by this week to show their support! Today, former ACPD Officer Miles Cleveland ordered pizza for day shift from the state of Iowa! Last night's shift was fed by Big-N-Small's BBQ. Hillcrest Bible Baptist Church goers brought snacks in yesterday, and we had donations of popsicles from Ark City Church of the Nazarene and from Addison and Kaidence!

Barbara Farley stopped by this week to drop off a gift for the department. She created a hanging quilt with our officers names included! We were also visited by Hillcrest Bible Baptist Church, who brought cookies! And this morning, we were brought fresh donuts and sausage rolls by Kasha Kelley! We appreciate all of you coming by to show your support and thank these community members for taking the time to connect with us!

Starting today, fireworks again are legal for sale and discharge within the city limits of Arkansas City. The sale and discharge of fireworks are permitted from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. June 27 through July 3, as well as from 10 a.m. to midnight July 4. City officials urge citizens again at this time to enjoy their fireworks responsibly, observe local ordinances governing their use and be respectful of their neighbors as they celebrate this holiday.

Fireworks stands that have permits issued by the City of Arkansas City are located in the parking lots of Spring Hill Golf Course, 3202 N. Summit St., and Westlake Ace Hardware Arkansas City, 2013 N. Summit St. The Spring Hill Golf Course stand benefits Angels in the Attic, Inc. and the Westlake Ace Hardware stand will benefit Hillcrest Bible Baptist Church.

Jimmy is an extension of our church here in Canal Wi******er, OH. Jimmy is a part of our family from past years. We're thankful for him and how God has used him!

Bro Rick Caldwell and his wife's granddaughter Candace , is having a SURPRISE birthday party for Bro. Rick on Saturday at the Rec Center in Ark City ,from 5:30 to 7:30. Since it is a SURPRISE birthday party she asks that everyone come a little early so they will not see us come in. There is gonna be a Chili Bar there ,so lots of yummy hot food (: I know Bro Rick and his wife have always been a blessing to me , so let's make sure to have a good turn out for his birthday. Everyone is invited but it is a SECRET so please don't let the Caldwell 'S find out!!! Also Idk how many people can see this on the churches page so if whoever sees this wants to share it so we make sure it gets around to all the Hillcrest Church folks!!
