Mr. Bill Carney graduated from Christian Brothers Academy in 1973. Mr. Carney joined the Allentown Alumni association in 1993 and has held titles of Vice President and President over the years. Mr. Carney continues to be an active member of the organization and a dedicated mentor to FFA members.
Mr. Carney’s career includes many years of training Standardbred Horses which he continues doing today and working at the NJ Equine Clinic.
He is truly a fixture in the Allentown FFA Chapter and can often be seen helping at their activities. The GIM Team salutes Mr. Bill Carney for all that he has done and continues to do for FFA members and the program.
Each year, FFA chapters around the country celebrate National FFA Week. Members learn life skills that are embodied in the FFA Motto “Learning to Do, Doing to Learn, Earning to Live, Living to Serve.” These valuable skills help prepare members to take on the challenges of tomorrow. The team is helping to celebrate by highlighting FFA alumni from Monmouth County throughout the week.

Jeremy Posluszny was an active member of the Allentown FFA chapter, participating in a wide variety of competitions and leadership events. Jeremy also served as Treasurer, Secretary, and Vice President of our chapter and Treasurer and Vice President of the New Jersey FFA Association. Jeremy is currently attending Rutgers Law School and also serves as secretary for the Monmouth County Board of Agriculture.

Allentown FFA Alumni and Supporters
Jay Hyland is an alumnus of the FFA chapter at Allentown High School. While there Jay took courses in Greenhouse Management and Mechanics. He competed in National Parliamentary Procedure and National Mechanics & Technology Competitions.
Jay currently works at Rutgers Fruit and Ornamental Research Extension farm and center in Cream Ridge. He also operates Hyland Farm, a 20 acre vegetable farm and retail farm stand with the help of his mother and sister, Heidi, also an FFA alum.
