Hi guys :) Thanks so much to everybody that came out for our first meeting! Hope to see more tomorrow in the choir room at 2:45-3:45. We'll be choosing songs to start rehearsing for this next meeting, come prepared with some ideas :)

Acapella club meets every Wednesday during 8th period (2:35-3:35) in H206, the music theory room. This is considered a social club, so anybody in AHS can join from 10-12 grade. You only need a passion for singing (or beatboxing) so if you're musically incapable we can try to make things work :P Dedication is required as this will take one hour a week unless something comes up; this is not a come-and-go club.
Acapella club meetings consist of: food, socializing and making new friends, choosing songs to learn (pop/oldies/any genre) and creating arrangements together for those songs if there are none preexisting, lots of rehearsing and singing, and more :)
Acapella club will plan out a few outings to sing either for the school at certain events, freshman center, senior centers, Christmas caroling, etc. so be sure you're not shy with your voice!
We'll also make purchasable acapella club t-shirts and the design will be voted on. In addition, many fun leadership positions will be available.
