With a bit of magic and a sprinkle of seeds, pumpkins grew even quicker than weeds! 🎃
At Primrose schools around the country, children turned the Primrose Patch garden into a Magical Pumpkin Patch. They planted magic seeds that grew into big pumpkins overnight just like the characters in the Primrose Harmony & Heart book "Superheroes Save the Day" they read in class. See for yourself!
Happy National Pumpkin Day! 🎃
Our students enjoyed a special visit from our lovely pumpkin fairy today. They got to read a fun pumpkin book and give our special visitor a magical seed to take and turn into a pumpkin over nap time!! 🎃🧡

Primrose students across the country learned so much during , last week! 🚒🧑🚒 They enjoyed touring their local fire stations, exploring fire trucks, and learning ways to stay safe in case of a fire with the guidance of their friendly neighborhood firefighters. Halloween costumes are a great opportunity for children to get creative and express themselves — but the decision-making isn’t always the easiest. If your child has a hard time sticking to a costume choice, try these tips.
🎃 Don’t plan too far ahead
Leave plenty of time for a decision, but not so much time that they’re bound to change their mind.
🎃 Choose a decision day
Give yourself time to find or make your child’s costume and put a sticker on your calendar to mark when a costume decision will be finalized. Once that day has passed, you’re going with what you’ve got!
🎃 Be flexible and leave room for creativity
It’s fun to dress children up in what you want to see them in, but it’s also important to give them the independence to decide for themselves. Support their creativity, even when it’s a little wacky!
🎃 Use our decision guide
If your child is still struggling to choose, use the decision guide on our Pinterest to give them a hand.
And most importantly, have a fun, creative and safe spooky season!
Dont forget about our Fall Festival coming up!! We hope to see you all! 🎃😍
Decorations are showing up and pumpkin spice is in the air! While this time of year can be exciting for a child, it can also be a little scary, especially for little ones under age 5. Check out these tips that may help your child (and you) make the most out of the season.
🎃 Let Your Child Pick Their Costume: When a child gets to choose their Halloween costume, they're likely to be more comfortable and excited. Let them try their costume on a few days in advance to get comfortable so day-of can be focused on having fun!
👻 Establish Real vs. Make-Believe: Embrace their imagination while teaching them the difference between make-believe and reality. Help your little one understand that even dressed up in a costume, people are still the same as before. You can use the costume to build a story with your child: What would your character do? What would they say? Where would they go?
🔮 Answer Questions Honestly: There's a lot to be curious about this time of year. It’s common for children to see things that might be hard to understand at their age, such as haunted house decorations or a mummy costume. Answer their questions truthfully while reassuring them it's only pretend and sometimes people think it’s fun to be a little scared.
🪄 Keep Things Safe & Have Fun: There’s no reason why parties or events can’t take place during the day when they’ll be less scary and safer in terms of visibility and traffic. Let your child take the lead, whether that's visiting every house in the neighborhood or just walking down the street. The key is that they enjoy the fun and fantasy, without the fright.
Save these for later and share them with a friend!!
Congratulations to our cheese ball contest winners!! 🧀 The count was 1,000 and each family guested just that!! Great job everyone! 😍🎃

Last week we had a special guest come speak to us during our staff meeting about financial health, one of our very own Primrose parents Mrs. Amanda Hackler-Roy! Mrs. Hackler-Roy is a financial consultant and is helping our staff learn how they can save, grow, and manage their money! We appreciate your help and guidance! After we spoke with her, we had a fun teambuilding game, in teams of three everyone had to work together to try and wrap a selected teacher as a mummy! It was definitely a fun way for everyone to enjoy the time spent together!! In first we had Mrs. Morales, Ms. Fran, and Mrs. M. In second we had Ms. LaCour, Mrs. Boyle, and Mrs. Tullos. In third we had Mrs. Satterthwaite, Ms. Gray and Ms. Wickham. Great job to all!! 😍
As part of our Early Art Master's Program, our teacher show our students textured items and they discuss the textures of objects. They also explain that art materials have various types of textures too. Here you can see children using smooth glue and rough salt to create rough textured artwork. We love helping our students see that learning is fun!! 😍
Today is Katie the cat’s birthday! 🎉 She teaches Primrose students the importance of cooperation and working together.
