Our first Polaroid customer feature is from our grand opening in 2017 when Jen invited her music business class from UNT College of Music. Her then student (and now friend) Cody Williams bought some cork grease and became our first official customer. As a bass player, he didn't have much use for it, but we appreciated the support!
Cody is a graduate bass performance student at UNT and a teaching fellow. He is the Director of the Bass and Cello Conservatory of Dallas and recently performed at Carnegie Hall

Hello all! This message mainly goes out to the musicians in the Dallas/Fort Worth TX area...

Hello, I'm director of a fairly new musical ensemble called “The Dallas Unity String Orchestra” and we are in need of musicians. If you play violin, viola, cello, or bass, this ensemble would be great for you!

About the ensemble: DUSO is a voluntary community string orchestra that consist of musicians that get together to make music for the simple joy of it. We rehearse twice a month on Monday evenings from 7pm-9:30pm with a 15 min break. We perform different genres of music from Classical to Pops to keep it interesting. There is no audition before becoming a member, but all musicians need to have at least 3-5 years of playing experience on their instrument, and the reason being is because the difficulty level ranges between intermediate to advanced/professional and we want the musicians to be comfortable with the music. If you or if you know any musicians that may be interested then you both can contact me either by messaging me on FB or my email: [email protected]” for more information and any questions or concerns you may have, I’d be happy to answer them. Thank you all for you time and have a great day!
Do you have an all state bass clinic this summer? Can we join even if we live in Tyler?
Thank you all for a great class! I really appreciate your concentration and attentiveness. We really covered a ton tonight. Happy practicing!!

A special thank you to Ron Gilbert, Dallas Strings, and Gudrun Raschen!
