We are so excited to announce that our fourth annual Tomahawk Trot will be September 21st. We want to make this the best Tomahawk Trot yet! The Tomahawk Trot is Algood Elementary School's primary fundraiser. For those of you who are new to Algood Elementary, let us give a brief explanation of the Tomahawk Trot.
• It is a walk/jog event in which students raise money for the teachers/school by collecting pledges from parents, friends, and relatives for walking/jogging a designated amount of time. The money raised from the Tomahawk Trot allows teachers to purchase much needed classroom items that are not in the regular school budget.
